If Xehanort does manage to absorb KH in KH3 then according to MX it would make him an existence beyond human, and wouldn't he also gain control over the hearts of everything? Therefore wouldn't that actually make Xehanort the God of the KH universe then?

I think he can take control of the World, and create a new world which light and dark are balance.

It doesn't specify "absorb the power of KH" but it tells about the existence beyond human, which in Xehanort Report 4.

Exactly which is why it may happen. I don't know if you noticed but KH and bleach are very similar.

1. Heartless are hearts consumed by darkness. Hollow are corrupted souls
2. Zanpakuto are special weapons wielded by special people. Keyblades are special weapons wielded by special people.
3. Xehanort has a long convaluted plan. Aizen has a long convaluted plan.
4. Aizen wants to open the door to a dimmension (Soul King's dimmension). Xehanort wants to open the door to Kingdom Hearts (Which can be thought of as a dimmension of realm)
5. Organization XIII and the Espada have some similarities.

So yeah, it's not too much of a stretch to say Xehanort may pull an Aizen with Kingdom Hearts. And as for the immortality thing, I would think if Xehanort absorbs KH and becomes an existence beyond human (Again another similarity to Bleach since Aizen says he became an existence beyond Human, Soul Reaper, and Hollow after absorbing the Hogyoku) Anyways I would assume immortality is a given since MX said absorbing KH makes you an existece beyond human. Of course with KH i'm speaking immortality in the sense you can never die, but you can be killed, so really I guess it's more like semi Eternal Life.
