Default Wanting to play KH FM+ questions

Okay so I would like to play KH FM+ one day, maybe this year or next year so here are some questions.

1. I hear you can play it on an English slim ps2 using swap magic. If so, where would I purchase one and how much? (I live in Canada)

2. Basically I'm buying it also for Re:CoM so, is there any other device that can make subtitles in English?

3. If I can't change it to English, will I have to buy myself a Japanese translation book and if so, what kind of translation? (kanji, romanji?)

That is all, take your time to answer since I'm not in a rush to buy it. Thank you

I have a slim PS2, and I had to go to Welcome to Swap Magic 3 Official Web Site and order the swap magic CDs, and the magic switch accessory. It cost like $30. But i live in The US but I think it ships to Canada

U have 2 buy Swap Magic, 4 it, and the cutscenes r in English but wit Japanese subtitles.
No, there is no device that can change the subtitles. Srry! And no, u don't need a translation book. I would recommend it though, if u want 2 study japanese.

Thank you for replying. But actually I meant that since Re:CoM is in complete Japanese, I need to know what kind of translator I should get so I can translate it myself.

well if you have played the chain of memories on the gba, it should be relatively easy to figure out. but if not you can look up guides online, and there are also translations of the cut scenes. but if you really want to translate it yourself, it is all in katakana i believe

Eh,no.Re:CoM is not only in Katakana, the battle menu is,but the subtitles which are in Japanese also have Kanji and Hiragana in it.

Re:CoM's story should be easy to follow if you've played CoM.And there are translation guides which you can use.
