| I Feel So Epic. | KH2 FM+ Is only available in Japan, and unless you want to open up that new PS2 of yours, it's best to get swap magic if you want to play it that badly. And the only plave where you would buy FM+ in america would be online. just get KH and KH2. They are both good games. And welcome to KH insider, by the way! |

| I Feel So Epic. | Swap Magic are decieves the regiion lock in a PS2, and let's you play games made for other regions. Don't know anything about how it'd work on a PS3. Don't know anything about Magic Keys. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Think of Swap Magic like you are trying to cheat while playing a game with Gameshark except the SM route involves trying to play import games - games from other regions like you bought a PS2 from the U.S. and trying to play a game from Japan like KH2:FM+ - instead of cheating. There are two known methods you need to use in collaboration with Swap Magic, and it varies depending on what type of PS2 you have. The two known differences are the slide card for the fat, bulky PS2s while you need the magic key set installed onto a slim PS2. What does the keys do? After you boot to the Swap Magic menu, you're disc drive should stop spinning. When that occurs, you switch out your SM disc for the import game you want to play. Why do you need the keys installed? Quite simply because you're holding down (in my terms) a fail-safe security system, when triggered, will try to reauthenticate the legitimacy of the disc and its region. Usually this triggers when you either press the eject button for the fat, bulky PS2 or pop open the lid to your slim PS2. Since the keys involve holding down this security check by not letting the check take place, it's possible to play import games, and sadly, allows you to pirate games in the process too. Quote:
