Anyone want to play as Riku/Roxas again?

Something I've liked in CoM and KH2 is the fact that, for a part of the story, we get to see things from someone else's point of view.

Playing as Riku was my favorite part of CoM, because personally I find his character far more interesting than Sora's. The whole point of his story was coming to terms with who he was and learning to forgive himself and atone for what he did.

Sora has character depth and is likeable, I'm not denying that, but playing as someone else for a while is nice too.

I'm not saying we shouldn't play as Sora again. It's his story. What I'm saying is that we should get to see things from other people's point of views, prefferably ones that are more pessimistic and believable, like Roxas and Riku. Both their stories were far more tragic than Sora's, who hasn't seen enough of life to see how tough it can be.

Anyone else agree?

Hell Yea, playin as roxas was sweet. I liked playin as roxas with two keyblades that was kool

And it would be good to see other characters stories, I'd play thru roxas' story first. Roxas is kool
But i wanna see more of riku's story kos he is missing thru 3/4 of the game

It's not a bad idea. Personally, everything that you said made since and I wouldn't mind playing as Riku again. Roxas I could pass on, only because I didn't like how his character was drawn out. Maybe I just need another chance to play as him where they describe his character in more detail.

i liked playing as roxas because he can dual weild without driving and i think thats awsome and riku...i dont really care hes kool but i like him non playable

I completely agree. Riku and Roxas's stories are, in my opinion, more interesting. Sora's story seems a little bland to me. It'd be cool to see the story from perhaps the enemy's point of veiw. Maybe Xemnas wasn't bad after all? And playing riku in CoM (and for 3 seconds in kh2) was awsome. Roxas's story at the beginning wasn't very interesting to me because the begining went on for AGES and I was ready to kick some bad guy ass, but instead I was stuck researching the 7 wonders of twilight town. maybe if you got to play him when he was in the organization...

after i had beten the first kh game[4 years or so]i thought of multple things the game should of had
1.have a game mode to fight all the bosses when ever you want
2.watch all cutscenes when ever you want
3. and have multple story modes
roxas,riku,mickey,sora so i totalally agree with you

SSounds cool if they did that it would be crazy if we got to play in the darker realms and worlds it would be a more darker game cuz roxas n riku have been through alot more darkness than sora.

YOu hardly got to play as Riku in KH2. And his attacks were so toned-down. Roxas was all right, but definently Riku!

Well, Nomura already said he wanted to go over Riku's absence and Roxas' time in the Org...
So we might be seeing two games in the future that are simply their story.

Totally agree! We never really experienced the "true" side of Roxas. Just his false identity transforming into his true disposition. I think it wouldve been cool to play what hes been doin, even before DiZ got to him. And Riku too... and now that I think of it wtf has he been doin the whole KH2?? In kingdom hearts 1 you at least had the idea he was doin things but wat has he accomplished in the second one? Nomura definately needs to made a sequel inside a sequel just to experience their side in the darkness. So far nobodys disagreed with that idea in this thread right?
