Has anyone ever heard of the lingering spirit?

My friend told me there's another boss in FM+ that's more powerful the the ES and he told me it was called Lingering Spirit or maybe it was Sentiment. Has anyone else who played the game came across this boss? Because I've never heard of it.

Those names sound veeery familar. I too would like to know.
Also, i would like to know more about "King".
Was that the dumped final boss?

Hmmmmm....I think the lingering spirit is supposed to be the Enigmatic Soldier.

I think some people mean it to be the ES, but I'm not sure...

Lingering Spirit is Terra's name in Jiminy's Journal. That means they're the same. ^__^

What? That's his name Terra? They took the name of one of FF6 heroine and gave it to hidden male boss in another game? This is about as dumb as reusing Rikku but for a guy....IMO.
