To me it's the same seing how I'm going to import it in japanese anyway ( despite not understanding the language, I prefer to take the chance than to never getting to play it ) but it's STUPID from them not to release the game in the US/Europe, mainly because of CoM and all the changes that have been made to the II itself..it has to come out in the western world!

Some interesting developments today as Guitar Hero Rocks The 80's was made official: Guitar Hero will (officially) Rock the 80s - PlayStation 2 News at GameSpot. Now why do you care about this? Because this game (or Guitar Hero 80's Edition as it was originally known) was listed in that same EGM article that said that Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ is coming to the US. And so far they have been right about everything on that list, so it is possible that they may be right about KH2FM+ coming to the US.

However, at the same time Square Enix announced today that they are making a special edition version of Final Fantasy XII: IGN: Final Fantasy XII Update Set for Japan, which I personally am suprised by I didn't think they were going to do a special edition for that game, but I guess I was wrong. FFXII special edition is currently set for August 9 in Japan. I don't think this will affect much regarding KH2FM+'s possible release in the US because if the Fall 07 release date is for real than the US will be getting KH2FM+ just as Japan is getting FFXII special edition. What this does change though is that we can no longer cite KH2FM+ being Square Enix's last PS2 game as a reason for the KH2FM+ to come to the US because it is no longer Square Enix's last PS2 game.

I still think that KH2FM+ has a very good chance of coming to the US, it is just that some of the rules and talking points for KH2FM+ to come to the US have changed a little bit.

1/1/08 is too far away, I think. Japanese games alway release about two to three months earlier than the English versions so that means that this date can't be the correct one.

I think SE should stop focusing all their attention on final fantasy and put more on kh I play both series.
Kh2 kicked FFXII ass in every subject ( I dunno graficts maybe...).
KH is the future of SE sometime people will get boring of FF

Actually it is more of the other way around, you see the Final Fantasy series is nice because every Final Fantasy is the Final Fantasy. You play with different set of people all the time. But Kingdom Hearts series is an ongoing series so people might be like, "The Keyblade kid again? Boring..."

what ever SE comes out with i hope it is soon, be it KH 2/RE:COM, KH 3, or some ramdom spin off i hope it is soon i've beaten kh2 so many times i've lost count, same thing goes for FF XII.
i'm getting impatinent

Guys, SE party is a Japanese event, so they wouldn't bother about an american release there, it is possible since on the American website on SE.com, it announced the party, but unlikley. If there is no announcement by E3, which really is our last hope, I am going to import.

But there was no E3 this year, because the last ever E3 conferance was last year. They should show it on the TGS, there is a good chance!

That is not true. E3 has just been moved to July and is smaller for the show parts, but it will still have big announcements from the press conferences.

Thats good to know. I was getting confused about how the conferances worked after last year. But there should be some interesting stuff coming in July.
