A little speculation from the Roxas Battle

Upon speculating this Roxas's abilities will be based upon all of Sora's Drive Forms, and a couple of extra, most notably noticing, are his resemblence to Valor, and Limit form for now.


The most notables are these

1. The Air counter he does, is the exact replica of Sora's Limit Form.

2. One of his moves, he dashes pass Sora, as well as leaves a shockwave. This move is very notable as a mixture between two of Sora's Valor move specials (One where Sora creates a shockwave, just like Roxas did, and another where Sora lunges forward fast, with his keyblade)

3. When Roxas creates the special area, the beginning of the move seems very similar to that of Ragnarok from Limit Form, however this is more then likely not true, so this one won't count.

4. Another note is Roxas does a dodge move around 6:48 which makes high resemblence to both Sora, and Roxas' reaction command against normal Nobodies.

5. When Roxas does a spinning technique that knocks Sora away, it seems to slightly resemble the finishing part of the spinning attack with Master Form.

Until another trailer, or until I get the game on March 29th, I won't be able to tell exactly what other moves are.

I think Roxas, since he is Sora's Nobody, has alot of the same abilities as him. They seem like they are more powerful than Sora's and overall it looks like Roxas is way more powerful than Sora. That fight looks really tough.

Yeah i figured as much when i saw that fight. Roxas doesn't look that hard at all, other than the fact he has 13+ bars of health, his attacks although wild, fast, & chained together...do minimal damage at best. That reaction command is the key to defeating him for sure, cause he doesn't stay still more than 2 seconds to land an attack, unless you use Limit on him. As noted Roxas & Sora are basicly one in the same so they should of have the same moves XD. His boss battle can't be too difficult cause it's needed to progress to through the end of The World That Never Was....

Either that, or his battle might be like the Leon battle from KH1, rather you win or lose, the result ends the same, because just like the cutscene shows, for KH2

If this is the same trailer shown in a closed to camera thing at an event a few months ago, then all the stuff shown in the trailer could be different right?

Because if so then I may have to (unfortunatley) point out that in recent screen shots Roxas only has about 1.5 Life Bars, so they probably nerfed him *cries*

yeah, it would make since to give him similiar moves to sora. just more powerful and cool looking than sora's. it's kind of a wonder how sora ever wins against anybody as it's clear that they have so much cooler moves. but yeah, i agree with xaldin. it could be like the battle against cloud or leon where if you lose it doesn't matter.

well naturaly roxas will seem to be more powerul than sora and have unusual ablities because hes not human remember hes a nobody but then again sora has suddenly gained the ability to leap about 5 football feilds

Well, that could explain why getting the Roxas keyblade is a difficult one to get. Maybe you actually have to beat Roxas, but if you lose, you can't get it. Or maybe getting the Roxas keyblade is just a side quest.
