The Memory Data of Re:CoM needed in FM+?

I have a question.

You know these "Absent Silhouettes" right? They are the already beaten members of the Organization of Re:CoM. So, these Absent Silhouettes appears in several worlds, like Marluxias Absent Silhouette appears in the Beasts Castle. But, can you fight them everytime? I mean, yes if you have beaten them once, they disappear, but you can fight them again in the Garden of Assemble, but do you need the memory data from Re:CoM to fight them?

For Example. I havent beaten Zexion in Re:CoM. And I found Zexions absent silhouette in Olympus Coliseum, can I fight him, though I didnt beat him in Re:CoM?

You definitely can.

The battles in Re: COM aren't required for those in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.

Never got around to beating Zexion in R/R, but I was still able to fight him several times in KH2, so I'm pretty sure. =]

ive heard theories that the saves were linked. but i think they arent. Someone told me that whenever they defeated a Cavern of Rememberance orginization member, they got Their enemy card in kH2FM, but im not suren if thats real or not.

Yeah its real, after you beat the data of ANY member, you can find their enemy card in the room of rewards, except for Vexen, Marluxia, Axel, and Larxene, cause you get theirs automatically when you beat them. Xemnas is in Wonderland, Xigbar is in Hollow Bastion, Xaldin is in Monstro, Siax is in Traverse Town, Demyx is in Atlantica, Luxord is in Agrabah, and finally Roxas is in Twilight Town.

I'm pretty sure that if you have save data of Re:CoM, whether it's complete or not, you get to battle all the members in the Cavern of Remembrance. (Can't remember what final room is called) If there is no save data of any Re:CoM, only the doors to the KH2 villains come forth for you to battle.

If anyone's still on this thing I've got something to point out. You do NOT need to beat FM+ in order to get the other ORGXIII enemy cards. That is a myth. I know this because I refused to even remove FM+ from the case before I beat RE:COM 100%. All you need to do is beat the game once on Proudmode then replay the game and the cards will be accessible to you. But I warn you that it's hard. Jiminy's Journal must be completely filled in and even then it more or less a occurs at random. The game's data is linked though. If you beat RE:COM you'll be able to watch more of the cutscenes in FM+ in English Aswell as Japanese. Also some cutscenes that previously had no Audio will have Audio when watched in FM+'s Theatre Mode. So there you go hope I helped.

Yeah...you don't need a clear save of RE: CoM at all for Final Mix. But to unlock some new cards in RE: CoM, you need a clear save of Final Mix.

That link IS a myth. I've gotten those cards WITHOUT fighting them in FM+. I ****ing serious, Why would anyone need to lie about something so stupid, and on a thread where I'm trying to offer advice no less. I could particularly care less about clout or pride, and if I'm wrong I'll admit to it. All I did was beat the whole game (RE:COM) on proud and complete Jiminy's Journal. By the time I had gotten Saix and the others I hadn't even touched FM+. I did however notice that I could not watch alot of the cutscenes on Theatre mode, until after I Copied the save Data From RE:COM on to the memory card I had saved FM+ on. (I beat the game at my cousin Miceal's house.) I say that it is probably at random because even though I got it, Miceal played the game through just the same as I did and he didn't get anything. My little sister Meridith played through and she got Demyx. ( She squeed oh so very, very loudly.x___x) She has NEVER played FM+ and she has her own memory card due to her Incredibly unhealthy The Bouncer addiction. *rolls eyes**sigh*fangirls*

i didn't even finish Re:CoM to get the cards. you don't have to clear it first i don't think cause i got demyx on accident the first game
