They were looking for the Room of Awakening. It may have to do with BBS, but I believe it has more to do with KH3.

But in all seriousness, yeah, she wasn't supposed to be connected with Kairi, or Roxas or anything like that. She was just a poor, small little girl filled with emotions (A Nobody No-No). *Sigh* I liked her better when she was all depressed.

Me too. That went out the window what I found out she was Kairi's nobody. The only thing that keeps her even worthwhile is that the only other living female OC is Olette and Kairi > Olette. Maybe if Olete was a lesbian llike Fuu, it'd be Olette > Kairi. But alas, no.

Well, they needed some reason to keep Kairi in the plot... even if that reason was not Kairi herself but her Nobody.
Which is pretty sad her Nobody is a better character ._.

What? Because of one line about "always alone" or "I've been alone for so long", that in itself is debatable? (others made good points of this that I don't need to repeat) I think we got that part down. Unless you're talking about something else because...

I think Nomura had the story of a Nobody before CoM came about. There's KH1 FM (before CoM, after KH1), Xemnas's first appearance, and sequences that support it. While those are about Sora (who's the MC) and not any mention of Kairi's Nobody, throughout the whole of CoM itself, while not said directly, is hinted that she is Kairi's Nobody, which is why it wasn't so much a surprise when it was revealed. Naminé replaced herself on Kairi in Sora's memories, when she saved and talked to Riku that time, she took the form of Kairi (though Riku saw through it), she also took the form of her to Sora to remind him of who was really his "light", and Naminé herself said she was only "her shadow". The only reason she has power over Sora's memories is because his body was used as a intermediary. It was a special birth.

With the idea of Roxas being Sora's Nobody (remember, at the end of KH1 with Deep Dive, it was only a concept) came into being, the same could be for Kairi having Naminé as well, along with a reason of how and why (which was given in the Ansem Reports). So if Kairi and Naminé were never connected at one point, neither was Sora and Roxas at one point. Is not exactly a plot hole, just moving the plot to explain who the mysterious guy in the black cloak fighting Heartless was, along with someone who was obviously Riku.

So...if I'm simply lost as to what you said, ignore this, and we can move on ^^;.

The thing I find most amusing about Kairi losing her Heart is that her Body and Soul effectively forming her Nobody - were Kairi herself in KH1. Her Heart, instead of becoming a Heartless, rested in Sora's body since the Islands disappeared.
What allegedly caused Namine to be created was when Sora released Kairi's Heart from his own Body, thus, according to DiZ/AtW - Namine was created as a very unsteady Nobody, having effectively no Body and Soul to actually be created from - since Sora's moved on to be Roxas and Kairi's... remained as an unconscious Kairi.
I lol whenever I think about how Kairi's actually a Nobody through KH1 as far as the dry definition goes.

That's what AtW theorized, yes. Fact is though CO offered quite a bit of what Namine herself could do to Sora.
Yet another interesting point of plot further lessening the importance of Namine being Kairi's Nobody in the general plot.

We all remember the scene where Roxas - already in his black coat - namely in the organization - walks up to Xemnas who tells him then that "I'ves been to see him - he looks a lot like you".
What Xemnas is referring to in this scene is his battle with Sora in the First Final Mix as the Unknown in Hollow Bastion.

Roxas was a part of the Organization before CoM - looks like he was recruited pretty damn fast even.

Maybe this has already been discussed, but I thought in one of the end Re:CoM movies it showed a Organization member showing up in the pod room. It's at the 4:35 mark in the video below:
