Axel's feelings for Roxas

A lot of people say Axel loves Roxas (aside from being a nobody and not having emotions) and some other people say it's just friendship. I was thinking, if Roxas was a girl, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE would be conviced Axel is in love with Roxas (or vice versa). But because Roxas is a boy, people say Axel only sees him as a friend. Don't you think that's a bit hypocrite? But if people would believe Axel could love Roxas as a girl than why can't people believe that Axel could love Roxas as a boy? I mean, just because they're boys doesn't mean they can't love eachother. Am I right, or am I right?

Cicero put forward the idea of loving a friend as a friend. Axel/Roxas could fit in there very well.

Axel's "feelings" for Roxas are purely self serving. Axel CAN"T love, regardless of whether Roxas is boy or girl. Axel is attracted to the portion of heart Roxas may [or may not] have; like a moth to the flame. He wants to feel, but if Roxas leaves, he can't. See the conundrum there?

i think that it would be clearable if someone loves (not as a friend but as a relationship) someone else in video games. So I think Sora, Riku and Kairi are just BEST friends such as Axel with Roxas are. Nothing more ( thats both good and bad IMO)

that makes sense but i think because Roxas was the way he was...was the reason it made Axel feel....like part of Roxas was transfered to Axel.....sounds weird but it makes sense to me i think i could have explained it better but i have 2 go

If any of them had been girls, I bet these forums would be filled with "AxeL TOTALLY loves Roxanne!" or things like that.

Seriously, Namine and Rox have WAY less of a relationship then Axel and Rox, yet almost everyone seems to think that they are "in love" with each other. Same with Aqua and Ven who obviously know almost nothing about.

Why? Because they are a boy and a girl. Because of this, people would automatically think "Aww they are meant to be together!" Put the same sex together who do the same things and people will just say "friends".
(I'd still pair everyone together male or female cause it's just fun like that. :/ )

I'm not saying that they are canonly gay, but Axel DID have strong "feelings" for Rox. It could be the heart that Rox has, or otherwise, but either way...given what they are...

I bet they f*cked or messed-around at least once.

I'm fine with any couple, regardless of gender.

If it's cute, funny, or just plain crack, I'll like it. Even more so when it makes sense. But when the pairing just doesn't fit or are annoying ( Zex/Dem, Cloud/Leon, Nami/Rox, Sora/Kai) then I tend to stay away from it.

Okay, she needs more personality but KH has done everything but flash a neon sign saying "They will be together". If they expand her a bit, then they will make a cute couple.

Unless you're referring to a different Kai and I just made myself look like an idiot.

My rule. All couples must have at least 1 one on one conversation with the other. Preferably more though.

Axel is certainly putting himself in a situation that's very...questionable...but I guess it's up to the gamer to decide for themselves.
