Rep Power: 3 ![]() | OK KID HERES THE GUIDELINES! Step (1) go to Buy Video Games for Consoles and PC - From Japan, Korea and other Regions! - Play-Asia.com and search for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ Step(2) buy a new game (dont buy used becuase you might get a crappy game tht doesent work) Step(3) buy a swap magic from the giantstore.com or any other site whre you can buy swap magics. (you need this so you can PLAY KH2FM+ swap magics are around 60 dollars so if you want this game, you probably are a HUGE kingdom hearts fan to buy it. and with the swap magic, if you have a PS2 slim like me, you have to buy something called a "Flip Top Cover" and to put it on your PS2 you have to take it apart. seriously. so go to a site where you can buy a swap magic that comes with a flip top cover or magic keys. you need magic keys if you have a fat PS2.) Step (4) every time you load your game, you have to start up the swap magic. to use a swap magic first, you HAVE to have the flip top cover or magic keys instaled on your PS2. next, put in your swap magic. then, when it says "Swap" on the screen switch the swap magic with the KH2FM+ and your all set!. just letting you know, KH2FM+ is 70 dollars becuase it comes with 2 games. it comes with KH2FM+ AND Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM. Re:Com is a PS2 version of chain of memories for GBA. its so fun especially when you go on reverse rebirth mode. IT ROX!. so i hope i helped and have fun with your game! (i deserve rep for this post, please i have zero and this post hurt my fingers.) |

| I'm chocolate chip | My advice to you is to not buy KH2: Final Mix+ Importing it and getting Swap Magic for your PS2 will, in total, cost you roughly $100 to $125. That's $100 to play a game that is 90% the same exact game as KH2, only this time it's in a language you completely can't understand. Not to mention the fact that every cutscene and additional Boss-Battle in the game, you can just watch Youtube videos of and have about the same ammount of fun without having to spend $100 There are better things to spend over $100, like 2 entirely new games, or 4 used games, or a whole Nintendo DS or Sony PSP handheld for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts games, etc. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | You should buy a Swap Magic 3 (with or without a "Slide Card", if you've got a PlayStation 2 with a normal disctray). And you should watch out that you buy a Swap Magic 3 that's compatible with your region. (PAL, NTSC, etc.) What region is your PlayStation? EDIT: About what MuffinMan said, the game's only worth it for the additional Boss Battles and gameplay, imo, because these are things you won't need any Japanese for. If you're going to play for the story, cutscenes, etc. then yes, it's not really worth it. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | well since the greatest hits version of it is comming out in japan in a few months I would wait to import it until then, because it will only be a lot less, and ya maybe it's not worth importing it for over $100, but it is totally worth the $34 that it is going to be plus the swap magic. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | Just watch out if you've got a PAL PlayStation 2 system. There are some problems that can occur (only with a 50hz television as far as I know). - Smaller screen (black "margin" at the bottom) - Sound and Video are often out of synch in normal cutscenes, sound doesn''t work at all in videos like Intro, Ending, Secret ending, etc. - Game is slightly (really just a little) slower. Well, I was told that it works with some people, but I think it's due to 50hz - 60hz differences. ^Oh, and don't double post, use the edit button if you want to add something afterwards. |
