subs-what the people are saying in words
dubs:language such as spanish voice acting is changed to english voice acting
hence why i said from the looks of a stupid poll most people wont understand japanese and are too iliterate to read the subs but thats basically what the gov thinks of teens in US as a whole

You don't seem to get it at all.

KH2 FM = English voices. Japanese text.
So adding English text would have made it = English voices with English text.
Hence why I said, if the people are stupid enough not to read the english text, they can listen to the english voices.

Yeah, because Nomura developed the game especially for the English market.

You have to understand that Nomura has his reasons for these kind of decisions. The first Final Mix was also only had English dubs and no English text at all. That's because it was indeed made for the Japanese Market. And it's the same case, here.
Should every Japanese game out there include optional English text just because of the possibility that some American would import and not understand it?

When i was in Japan we took a tour to a Japanese school in Okinawa, and one of the major languages they had were english. Now how does this relate?

The english voice overs with the Jap Text is totally optional in Japan, but they leave that to get a bit of the English taste to the game, and this isnt just Japan release but also Europe, not saying they got KH2FM+ but they've had plenty of international FF versions.

Basically it is Japanese Marketing intended for them, but upon importing they leave a bit for others.

Upon translating, they have sites with full translation for the game

Before I report this thread, I'll just say this: quit putting the weight on Nomura. He has little to no input on what countries get the games he works on. He doesn't decide every little thing about it, his job is to make sure the game gets made. Nothing else.

It reely wouldn't make sense,. I mean some can't undrstand english in japanese. And we can undrstand the menu bcuz of the menu. SO reely they didn't miss the money.

Wait...now I'm REALLY confused...I was told Kingdom Hearts FM and KHIIFM+ were in Japanese. Like, completely. Was that information false? From what I've read, I'm grasping that the spoken language in the game is English, and the subtitles and text within the game are Japanese. Which one is true?

P.S. Some people should learn how to spell...It's sad, how most of you can probably speak the English language, yet can't spell for their lives.

EDIT: If you really WANT to understand all the subtitles, learn how to read the japanese language for Christ's sake.
