umm..can someone tell me how to hit ursula first time and the second? i haven't played kh1 in ages....^^

the first fight, when she's normal sized:
i think you need to use magic on the cauldron, then when she is knocked out, you hit her however.

When she turns into ginormus ursula
just hit her face and dodge attacks

Yeah, rape the cauldron with magic and then attack her when you hear her yell. Second fight's pretty straightforward.

And it'll probably help to knock out flotsam and jetsam [first fight] so that they don't get in their way.

[you can lock onto one of them and hit triangle twice to send donald and goofy after them while you magic the cauldron]

oh and one more thing wat magic do u use on wat color?

I don't remember if it matters. I would say any magic.
If not, your best bet is
red-fire
blue-blizzard
yellow-thunder
etc.

ok! thx! i thought that u needed to use a specific kinda magic on a color. i dunno anymore! i havent played in like ages T_T and i just got it.

Be careful though, because Ursula throws little potions into her cauldron to shoot out fire at you and she sometimes spins around the room to hit you.

Also, having Jetsam and Flotsam is good because hitting them can regenerate your MP if you're low on Ethers. I'd have Donald and Ariel in your party for both fights mainly because Donald is your magic man and Ariel heals you every 10 seconds.

thx! didnt remember that about ariel (btw cool avatar) and i dont like to use donald alot cuz he usually dies on me. i usually have goofy and the other character depending on wat world im in.wait a sec. u can heal mp when u hit Flotsam and Jetsam? didnt kno that either! :D thx again for the tips!

No problem buddy, and yeah Donald is annoying with his 20 minute Death Sessions, but he is a huge help though. Well, sometimes anyway.

also for the second fight, it would be better to attack the back of her head instead of the front.

And, in the second fight, it's good to use Mermaid Kick (get from first fight) so that whenever you notice little yellow sparks forming around her you can swim away before they form a damaging pillar shield. Also, after beating her first time, just save your game in the save point found in the room on the left of the fork in the Lava hallway place.

The first time, you have to look at her big couldron and see what color the water is. Red=Fire. Blue=Blizzard. If you hit the couldron water with the correct spell, it will stun Ursula and you can hit her. In the second fight, just try and hit her neck or the back of her head. Locking on helps during the second fight.
