Help on Ansem

can anybody help me on the ansem battle when your fighting him alone?

I don't see how that is hard. Can you specify the most frequent times that you die? what attack does he do that usually kills you?

When fighting Ansem the second time, make sure to have Ragnarok and Dodge Roll equipped, and assign Curaga and Aeroga to the magic shortcut, that is, if you feel like living through the battle.
Once battle starts, it's a good idea to cast Aeroga immediately. Why? One of Ansem's most common attacks is shooting across the arena, just like Riku. Aeroga deflects this. If and when Ansem's guardian attaches to you, know that you can still attack Ansem, but he has a force field. That's where Ragnarok comes in. Finally, when the guardian just disappears, the arena darkens, and pools of darkness, similar to Cerberus's attack, start to appear. The guardian will reach up out of the pools to slash you. That's why you dodge roll. As long as you have, say, elixirs, you'll be fine with this strategy. Also, Oblivion is a good weapon to use, along with any dark resistance accessories like Raven's Claw from Neverland.

if u do all of this, ull have a simple time beating him

lol I've beaten the game many times and I still haven't beaten Sephiroth, Hades Cup, Ice Titan, Kurt Zisa, or Phantom. Ansem is easy for supposedly mastermind of the first game.

Just hit him... Or cast Aero on yourself to add more damage/ you can parry some of his attack... It is not hard...

what I want to know for instance:

WHICH keyblade is best(I use metal chocobo)
I can't find ''guard'' anywhere.
According to several walkthroughs I will get Ragnarok when I defeat Ansem,so how can I equip it when I don't have it yet.

And maybe this is a really stupid question but how do I make the ultimate weapon???

By the way, I'm new,so hi everyone!This morning I tried for the umpteenth time to defeat Ansem and IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN!!!! Even my sister who is quite the game-nerd can't get him.
I've watched video's on youtube,and The screens of the recorders have elements I don't see on my screen.

For instance Ansem's lifebar does not appear on my screen,neither does any of my enemies...

Help! Please??

Keyblade- Use either Oblivion or Ultima weapon (i can beat him with KK XD)

Guard- I don't remember how u get the guard ability (u don't rlly need it, dodge roll)

Ragandarok- U don't get Raganderok (sp?) from beating Ansem, u get it from something else (dont remember)

Ultima Weapon- Synthisize everything u can, and Ultima weapon will be the last thing.

and it's "Geek", not Nerd (gotta say it XD)

It depends on what weapon you choose in the beginning of the game. Choosing the Sword gets you Guard at Level 37, The Staff - Level 40-something, and the Shield - Level 9. Guard is pretty handy, but just not when you're fighting in the air.

If you're really good and at a high level, he can get spanked with pretty much any Keyblade. The BEST would be The Ultima Weapon. I whooped him 30 sec. Ok, maybe not that short. If not for his Meteor Shower Attack. It would've been 30 sec. Anyway, 2nd Best is the Oblivion Keyblade. Metal Chocobo is weak compared to those.

You should already have Ragnarok. You probably just didn't equip it. Ansem is the LAST boss in the game. Why would they give you a new ability then?

Synthesize the items in the Moogle's Item Workshop. If I were you, I'd equip Lucky Strike on all Party Members to have Heartless drop items more often. It takes time, but it's worth the wait.

For one, you have to equip Scan to see Ansem's Life Bar, and two Ansem is the easiest boss in the game and he's supposed to be the villain!

Before the fights, equip yourself with Elixirs and Megalixirs and Potions and Hi-Potions on Donald and Goofy.

The first fight is simple. Just Summon Tink and Thrash him with Donald and Goofy. It shouldn't take long.

The second fight is ehh. You're alone and you need to move around a lot. You SHOULD have Guard. Guard is your friend in this fight. When Ansem is chasing you in his "shield", Guard it, and he'll stop automatically. The screen will turn dark and he'll say, "My strength returns." Once you heart that, Dodge Roll, and DON'T STOP until his attack is done. Besides that, it's a pretty basic fight. You'll have to Cure a few times.

The third fight is a doozie. You're alone, in the air, and can't use Guard. You'll need to Cure here. Get in his face and hit him with everything you've got, retreat and heal if you have to. If anything, you'll need to use one of your Elixirs. To dodge his lasers, you could try moving in a circle around him. That's how I dodged it.

After a whole song and dance and rescuing Donald and Goofy, you'll face hiim for a Final Time. Press Triangle to have Donald and Goofy lay into him. He'll raise his Staff in the air and call for a Meteor Shower type attack. Keep casting Aero on yourself. It'll abosrb the blows so you receive less damage. Just hit him with eveything and you'll win.

*HINT- Before the Final Fight, there's a platform below Ansem. You had to kill a fat, juggly thing. Jump down there and you'll be able to summon Tink. My friend showed me that. It'll make the fight a lot easier, but remember if you die, Tink can only bring you back once and you're on your own.

When i did i was about lvl 85 and it wasn't that hard so i recomend just train, lvl and kill.

It's not very hard. Just make sure to keep your distance while he attacks, especially while he does the dashing move. You have to dodge roll to the right just before he hits you if you want to dodge that. When he does is huge attack where his black creature thing keeps leaping out of the ground, just run a large circle around Ansem. If this deosn't work, dodge roll instead of run.

the easiest way i have found to beat ansem is to dogde and on the move when he charges just use gaurd(if equipped) you will also get exp for the gaurd (not that you need it) but he will stop attack him then he will use a move where his shadow goes underground and chases you from below when that is done attack him when ansem says submit run the shadow will get inside of you and if so a command thing will say freeze use it it will keep the shaddow from grabbing you(or you can use a skill like sonic rave or ragnorok or ars arcnum or jugdement)but option 1 saves mp so that is all i know if done right you will win the battle and learn the secret of kingdom hearts (i know because i played for 12 hours once never doing that again)
