Help on Ansem

Brah when the guardian picks u up just tap x as fast as u can. Also make sure u have dodge roll, it helps a ton when dodging atks. Latly if your talking about the ship battle, atk him when he is firin the lasers at u just go up and down while repeatly atking him.

According to several walkthroughs I will get Ragnarok when I defeat Ansem,so how can I equip it when I don't have it yet.

And maybe this is a really stupid question but how do I make the ultimate weapon???

By the way, I'm new,so hi everyone!This morning I tried for the umpteenth time to defeat Ansem and IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN!!!! Even my sister who is quite the game-nerd can't get him.
I've watched video's on youtube,and The screens of the recorders have elements I don't see on my screen.

For instance Ansem's lifebar does not appear on my screen,neither does any of my enemies...

Help! Please??

Sounds to me like you don't use abilities. Scan is the ability you use to get the life bar to show.
You will NOT get Ragnarok after defeating Ansem at the end, I'm pretty sure you defeat Ansem (Riku) and you get it. (Unless you have equipped t, you press R1 to lock on.)
Ultima weapon is made by the Moogles above Cid's shop. You need certain synthesis materials that you get by defeating enemies only to make Ultima. (You have to synthesize all the other materials before Ultima is unlocked.)
Or maybe there is something wrong with your game,in that case, trade the game in for another one, it won't cost anything and you still continue from where you left off.

Actually, the one thing you CANNOT deny is that EXPERIENCE is probably the most important thing to keep in mind. If you ran through the game and had problems with previous bosses or even just the monsters in ANY world, train for a while. Ansem's alot easier to defeat at level 70 as opposed to level 45. no matter what keyblade or items you use. At level 99, I beat him with the keyblade's origional for and hitting the "curaga" only once...

BUT if you hate training, then I guess this doesn't really help! XP
