Mushroom Wierdness

This has probably been asked before but i want to start a thread so yeah.
It's about the items you can get from white mushrooms, black mushrooms and rare truffles.
1. Fire/Blizzard/Thunder/Cure/Aero/Stop/Gravity (missed any?) Arts. Just what do they do? The description says it's value is unknown but they dont sell for much.
2. Shiitake Rank and Mitsutake Rank. I just found these literally yesterday. You get them by hitting Rare Truffles in the air loads of times (50 for Shiitake, 100 for Mitsutake). I haven't got a clue what these are for either. These don't sell for much either.

Things like this make my brain cry.

white mushroom:just gives up mp balls and potions

black fungus mushroom:gives out mystrey mold which if u sell it its worth 9,999 munny

rare truffle mushroom: gives out mystery goo whitch helps u synthesise the ultima weapon which u need three of them.

the mushrooms do not give items in the coliseum

the shiitake is worth 100 and the mitsutake is worth 500 munny

The element art things, if you get one of each element, you get a special weapon fror Donald and Goofy, the siitake and mitsutake are useless....

Uh, you can get mystery goo from white mushrooms too, ne? It's a lot easier than from rare truffles. THe only difference is that you only have a 10% chance of it with charades, 20% if you use the same spell three times in a row.

And, yeah, shiitake and matsutake are merely to keep and say 'look I hit a mushroom a lot' or to sell.

if you get all of the arts from white mushrooms and go to merlin you get the 'dream sheild' for goofy

Actually, u only get a special weapon for goofy for collecting the Arts and givin' em' to Merlin(as said by Deadly Cloud). U get donald's special weapon from Merlin when Sora learns all the spells of the first spell.

no its of the last spell not first all of your spells (apart from summons obviosly) must end with aga (example: firaga, blizzaga)

No it's all of the basic spells. Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, Gravity, Stop, and Aero.

No, by getting all the first level spells you get Sora's Keychain, Spellbinder. You get the third level spells you get Dream Rod.

Really? I hate those things. Getting them from the White Mushrooms are easier. Just do three correct spells in a row and you're fine. You can also get them from the Black Fungus that hang out in Halloween Town.

Muffin Man, any idea what The Mystery Mold is for besides the fact that you can get A LOT of Munny for selling it?
