yeah im trying to beat the game with everything you can possibly get on expert mode. ive gotten everything except the last few item sythesis things. i have like mass amounts of every ingrediant except bright crystals. ive killed so many defenders and have lucky strike on teh whole party. i was just wonder if there were specific areas where they drop these alot. ive been in hallow bastion.

Gah... I had a lot of problems with this too... I think it's best to just stick to Hollow Bastion and hope you get lucky. Allthough there are some defenders in places like the 3rd District in Traverse Town, so you may want to try there if you get bored of Hollow Bastion. ^^

yeah ive been playign liek since i put up this post and i got all the bright crystals. now i just need goofies weapon defender. any tips?

Yeh, also try world terminus, there are usually loads of defenders there as well, summoning Bambi might help as well...

I´ve ONCE gotten the Defender in Travens town...
But the Electrisyty went out and I hadn´t saved... =(

lol ok i got everything now and beat the game at lvl 100 wiht everything including mushroom ranks on expert so no more help. thanks though.

i had allot of luck with the defenders in the 3rd destricked, but if that doesn't work just go to hollow bastion.

I could easily spend 3 hours killing defenders and get maybe ONE bright crystal... they are very rare even for a KH expert- and I've beaten the game over 10 times. What I do is start in the 1st district and then use the door to the 3rd district where you'll find about 8-9 defenders. Then go to the second district and go into the hotel where you'll find 3. Then go back to 1st and repeat this cycle for as many hours as you want...

It takes a long time to get anything out of a Defender... Third District is good, Hollow Bastion is good, and cycling through the Hotel is kinda fun, too.
(note: the Defender's Shield is a pretty good weapon, but if you wanna get a great shield for Goofy I'd suggest getting his Save the King -I think his is Save the King, anyway...- from Olympus.)

thats why its called a rare drop but just keep at it and you will get all the bright crystals you need

I never had problems getting the Defender until recently. I have killed over 1500 of them according to my journal and have not yet gotten one.

Ive been to Hollow Bastion, World Terminus, Traverse Town, and Wonderland. I've killed 386 and still haven't gotten one. I've gotten 2 wizard relics, and I have dream weapons and ultima. But no Defender.....
