What to do after the end of KH1.......?

OK so I beat Ansem, closed the door, watched the cutscenes and now on it says 'the end' but it stays like that with the Hikari song. Is there a spot to save anywhere or is it just that and I can turn off the game? Cause when I did I was back at the Final Rest area. Did I just lose all my data of beating Ansem?? I'm kinda confused...

Final Rest is the last place you can save before beating Ansem.
Once you get the "The End" screen, you can reset and load back from Final Rest and do anything else you might have missed
Trinities
Tournaments
Dalmatians
Synthesis
etc.

So, no, there is no way to save after you beat Ansem, however, you can go back and fight him as many times as you like and/or do some side quests^, etc.

I had the same problem. I had no idea. Then I turned it off. Turned back off. Then I felt so stupid. so yah what he said is rigght.

That's what it does, but if you complete EVERYTHING, you will unlock the secret ending that gives high quality of the Roxas/Riku battle.

i know it might seem like you did that for nothing but you get the secret ending(if you completed a certain tasks) well riku_keyblader said pretty mich everything.
