Darkside difficulties

I just started a new game in expert mode because I wanted to see how long it would take me to play the entire game choseing the most difficutest choices.So i got the sword cause i cant fight well with it and i choose to start my path in the middle of the night (the questions) so my level would go up slowly. I'm at level 1.I just got to the first fight against darkside. I get to the point where he shoots 3 lasers at a time but always end up dieing. Is there any way to avoid that attack?

Do you mean the move where he kneels down and shoots lasers from his heart? Well, the empty hole where his heart should be? If you mean that move, then when he's about to do it, get behind him and they won't hit you from there.

yes that was the move.they really wont hit you if you go behind him? i didnt know that. ill try when i get off. thks

Nope. When he kneels just go directly behind him. I've tried it.

D's End is right. Go behind his butt and the lasers shouldn't come at you. Another tip, try attacking his hands when he starts to get up.

Since you'll end up fighting him again in the future, it's worth mentioning that you get experience points and damage Darkside simultaneously by hitting the energy blasts back at him. Yes, it's possible.

How do you hit the energy blasts back? I would always just get hit with them.

I haven't tried Guard. Would that be a possibility?

He really is that easy. The little female monkeys in Deep Jungle are a bigger challenge than he is.

I had a hard time at first in expert but figured out how to win by playing CoM and I think you just attack the blasts at the right time to send them back at him

Thats how you're supposed to but you have to lock on to him first

That is how i do it just before they hit you whack them back but if your trying to level up slowly try and find a new way as each time you hit them back you gain Exp So ?
