Although I think it's an interesting theory to play around with, the most likely scenario is that Axel's true name is some kind of anagram without an X (ie- Ale, Ael, Lea, Lae, Eal, Ela) or if that's true what was said about already having an 'X' in the name that it could be Alex (or hell, even Axel, maybe his name didn't change and that's why he was so different from the others)

Ok, Kairi was one of the Princesses of Heart, but what if Axel was originally one of these chasers, or one of the knights (what if the knights are chasers)

My point is, we don't know enough yet.

There are theories enough out there saying that Xehanort/Xemnas was already a heartless or a nobody for that matter when DiZ found him. (Or that he was something else entirely that was able to spawn both a sentient/intelligent heartless, a powerful nobody, and more than likely come back in some other entity we don't know of yet.)

Who's to say that Axel's not something like that and his nobody was formed in much the same way Kairi's was? Maybe Riku was the original, though I feel as though his heartness and/or nobody would look far more like Xemnas as that's how he has personified the darkness within his own heart.

Just a thought really...

but Kairi didnt become a Heartless so the X factor didnt apply to Naminé

I think Ael or Alex makes the most sense. But I'm not sure if the 'X' rule about there already being one aplies. But maybe... what if Xehanort was ALREADY a nobody. I mean, him and his supposed nobody Xemnas look exactly the same, whihc normally is not the case. Maybe Xehanort changed his organization name to Xemnas when he stole Ansem's name and his original name ( as not being a nobody at all) would be like Noahert or something at that person is the brown haired guy from the secret ending. I mean, one contradictory thing is that nobodies aren't supposed to feel but Roxas felt anger and sadness, and Namine felt guilt and such so why not?

I heard somewhere (wikipedia i think) that the "X" applied to the Organization was simply a sign of brotherhood. Namine didnt have the X because she wasnt a member, just a tool. Maybe Axels name is AXEL its not a common name, but it is used. the ORG. coulda been like "HA! hes already got an "X", no need to sit around a pad of paper and think of a cool new name!"

I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but I'm so sick of people thinking that Axel is Riku's Nobody.

First off, Riku NEVER became a Heartless!!! I know, you're going to say, "But Kairi didn't become a Heartless and she has a Nobody!" BUT, Kairi is a different case because she's a Princess of Heart, and Namine was never meant to exist, so she doesn't apply to this situation. And a Nobody is created from the leftover soul and body when a person loses their heart. Riku's never lost his heart. Therefore, no Nobody. His dive into darkness was similar to that of DiZ. He embraced darkness, but it never engulfed him completely.

Second of all, Axel DOES NOT equal Riku + X...

Third...in the Secret Ansem Reports, Ansem states that a Nobody is created from the leftover body and soul of a person with only the slightest physical changes. Although Axel looks *slightly* like Riku...Axel's older, taller, and doesn't seem to have any memories of Destiny Islands, Sora or Kairi.

I will just say this. There was one point when I did believe that Axel could be Riku's Nobody. But I did my research. It's just not true.

i doubt they had "brotherhood"
but axel seemed as though he felt sadness at the end of his battle with Roxas
and when he was dying he told Sora that him and Roxas made him fell like he had a heart
and it cool i dont care if ur rude
but it can't just be chance there too many things that make it more than that

Right, and I don't mean to be rude. I respect your opinion completely since I once thought so, too!

About Roxas making Axel feel like he had a heart, I think that may have something to do with Sora's connection to Roxas. I mean, Sora's a very strong-hearted person, and his heartless would certainly influence Axel in a positive way. Their relationship was the one reason why I believed that Axel could be Riku's Nobody, but I just don't think the facts line up.

so axel's connection with roxas could be classified as the same as riku and sora
but the thing that stands out is that axel become cocky around roxas the way riku is around sora
plus the hair
