Names confuse me!!!

Why is Namine` (the name) so different then Kairi's(the name)?!?!?

I think its because Kairi never really became a heartless, but had a nobody because she lost her heart. And since Namine was born a nobody without Kairi becoming a heartless, her name is without an x.

good point, but still, almost the same thing happened to Sora. Expect for the fact that Sora became a heartless for about 5 minutes.

Her name is without an X because Namine is not in the order. Simple as that. Why the names of Kairi and namine don't look alike? I don't know, maybe it isn't neccessary for names to be alike.

Ask someone to check the meanings in Japanese for both names, there's probably a connection somewhere

Kairi is a word that is derived from the word Kai, which in Japanese means Ocean.

Namine is a derived word that is made from Nami, which means Ocean Wave.

That is probably the main connection between their names.

Well, Namine's not a member of the Org. so she doesn't have an "x" in her name, if that's what you're getting at...and while Kairi never truly became a Heartless, she was, in fact, heartless for a good portion of the first game.

Gaara-sama does have a point but the last time I heard the fact that Kai in Kairi was just a coincedince(sp?)
