No game is perfect enough to recieve a ten from me, but a 7 is too low for me.

The game had many improvements over the first one and even threw in some new things of its own. I don't like all the hatered fans seem to be gib=ving it. It had problems and all, but none of them seemed too major to me.

The story line is awesome but the battle system could be a bit better.

5/10 because the storyline is really bad and Organization XIII's plan is lame as hell. Plus there's no good scenes showing off some of the members being true good villains. FM+ seems to be changing that but not by much.

The gameplay and music is the game's redeeming quality.

8/10 it wasn't nearly good enough to deserve anything above it but it wasn't bad either.

about 8 yeah, theres a lot of improvements that could be made, it was a little too linear in places (storyline wise and gameplay wise). But still an enjoyable game and up there with my favourites.

around a 9/10. the movies were good, the gampley was a bit ez but nonetheless good, the graphics were good, but the game gets boring after u play it the 1st time. it's not the type of game u can play 50 times.

I give it 5/10. Compared to original, it sucked in my opinion. Sure they upped the battle system and graphics, but the story line had way too much unnecessary stuff. The music was great, and really set the mood, but the characters in the game (including the FF characters) all looked too cartoony. (In KH, there was a clear distinction between Sora's graphics and Donald's graphics, but KH2 didn't have it.) On top of that, the battle system became too action oriented, making most fights easy to get through with little though required. (when compared to KH anyway) Yeah I'll give it it's props, it was a good game. But in this cause, I believe the sequel failed to surpass the original. Maybe KH2:FM+ will change that.

Well, here's hoping.

I would give it a 10/10 just because there wasn't a 8 on the list just because the game is great but I think that there should have been some improvement with the spells, worlds, and gameplay.

...gameplay-wise? 8/10. Nice combat system, more abilities, plus reaction commands pwn soxs.
Story-wise? 5/10. Abysmal, in my opinion. The Org. members seem to have amazingly complicated goals - in CoM, it was controlling Sora, but now it's gaining their hearts back. WTH, Axel - can you make up your mind?
Someone, DiZ gains control of Namine and tries to have her direct Sora, but once again she falls victim to what I call the Kairi Syndrome - being a character who barely appears for half of the game yet is vital to the story. People who haven't played CoM are like "WTF is this." Kairi plays a slightly more important role, but giving her a Keyblade at the end that magically disappears when they fight Xemnas? Come on.

It could be better...and that's why FM is coming out.

I haven't exactly voted, but I am giving my opinion.

I was very disappointed with the whole game. When I finished it and watched the end FMV, I seriously sat there and screamed "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?". Not only was the game far too easy, but you seemed to zoom through all the worlds without even realising you passed through them.
The storyline was now way too hyped in my opinion. After D/D and ASAS, I thought the story was going to be exciting, emotional and full of surprises and a lot darker than KH1.
I never got any of this. All I got was not even a half baked storyline, characters were poor, the storyline lacked any real motivation. It had so much potentional, but it seriously did flop.
Roxas is included in that. I thought he would've played a bigger role, after you finished with him, that was it. He was never really fully mentioned until the end of the game, when Organisation XIII came in.
Battle system was ok, I liked it, music and graphics were good, but it was the storyline that really annoyed me. I saw the whole Roxas/Sora thing coming from a mile off and I was praying that SE wasn't going to jump to the obvious. It didn't even feel like they even attempted writing a good story.

The first one was a lot better. And CoM takes the cake as the best one of all three. (thats why I want KHII:FM+ so bad, 'cause of ReCoM!!)

I remember long ago, when the first game came out, I posted my whole review on the game, so I dont feel like posting it again. Im pretty sure I gave it a high score before, but looking back at it, it doesnt even deserve higher than a 7.

The thing is, when you're gonna review and rate a game, you HAVE to look at it from a non-KH fan's point of view. Thats what a true (and smart) gamer is, and thats how youre gonna come up with the most right and reasonable score. If you look at it from a KH fan's point of view, of course you're gonna love it. Of course you're gonna give it a 10 out of 10. That my friends, is called being a fanboy.

Hey buddy I'm a girl... and I'm not really a fangirl either. Sure I'm a fan.. but I'm not that obsessed... Matter of fact the only times I restarted the game was cause my little cousins wanted to watch.... I've really only played an beat the game once... and that was a year ago..

and I agree a person should look at a non kh fans point of veiw... I know some serious gamers at school who thought the game was pretty good. My friend thought it was the dumbest thing ever but then she played it alittle and never gave me back the controller.... But the purpose of this topic is to give it what you think the game diserved... Not what you'd think other people would think of it...
