Well in FFVII the O is the main command button, which i remember that really screwing me up when i first played. But who knows. And i did like Atlantica...just not Haley Joel Osment singing.

so why is the commands X and O in America different in Japan?

the main reasons why people hate atlantica in kh2 is that it took about an hour to complete it while the others completed about 3x that much and they could of not do the music stuff and do the fighting like they did in kh1 and besides it was cool to fight while swiming.

In Japan in most of the games X is changed to O as the main comand button, don't know why but it is so, maybe it is easier for them to use. I have a JAP FF 12 and the main button is O, also my friend has JAP Sonic Heroes and the main button is O too.
