KH and KH2 Playable on PS3

Well, as some of us know, the PlayStation 3 does NOT play all PS2 and PS games.
I checked on the PS website and Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 are both playable on the PS3.
Check it out here
Search for "Kingdom Hearts" and it'll list them and each will say "No major problems for this title."
That's the best you're gonna get.

So if you bought a PS3 or are planning on getting one, you can still play KH!

Well thats good news. Otherwise I woulda had to spend about $100 to play them on the PS3... my PS2 is crap anyways...

well that is thankfully good news, i wonder if any of the FF's will be playable, probably, anyway most of my PS2 games are quite new so they should be alright, and I wonder about the PS1 games, but if they don't work I can always go to my PS2! =D

The Final Fantasy series is a mixed bag. X, XII, and Tactics work, but Anthology, Chronicles, Origins, VIII, and IX have issues. FF VII has one graphical anomaly during one of the first battles in the game. Final Fantasy XI has problems using the PS3's HDD, but a future software update promises to fix that.

It's to bad that I will probably not be getting a PS3 and not because i don't want one but because i just don't feel like paying $600 for one but when the price goes down and some good games that i actually like to play come out then i will get one.

Well, at least theres the $500 one.

Thank god i can play KH and KH2 on my soon-to-be PS3

No, the PS3 doesn't change the graphics or appearance of the previous-gen games it plays

Thank the lord KH and KH2 work on the PS3.... I'm planning to buy the PS3 when games that appeal to me come out.
