look at it this way. disney plans to tap into the video-game market. they think if people play this game, they will be exposed to disney propaganda, and thus purchase more disney items, thus bringing in profit. therefore they stuff the game full of annoying kiddy characters, donald and goofy being among them.
with any partnership there are certain compromises that need to be made. putting it bluntly, kingdom hearts has disney, kids like disney, therefore kids like kingdom hearts. this is beneficial towards both square and disney. however, in order to keep this going with sequels to kingdom hearts in regards, would it be possible for disney to have some sort of demands that square-enix needs to keep in order to keep the partnership? for example, in every sequel, donald, goofy, and mickey must play integral parts in gameplay. think about it. donald, goofy, and mickey are the most popular characters in the disney franchise, and the most successful in terms of profit and income. if disney can't put their money making machines in the game, then what would be the point of disney entering in a partnership with square-enix in the first place?
so, would it be possible that there are certain requirements that need to be fufilled for every game in order for square-enix and disney to stay in a partnership? inclusion of corny characters, propaganda, mickey mouse, less violence, etc? its safe to say that a chunk of people who bought the game did so because of their love for disney...and without disney kingdom hearts would pretty much be screwed...thus square-enix is obligated to meet the demands of disney...make any sense?

yes it makes perfect sense...... this is why Mickey is "The King" of the game and this is why Donald and Goofy follow you everywhere

ya it makes perfect since thats why they made goofy and donald your immediate companions, and his majesty king mickey! so they have to stay in games to come and wont get old....hopefully.

If Disney wasn't involved, we wouldn't have Kingdom Hearts. F*** the propaganda, they may have it, just let us play this awsome game! We love it the way it is.

Keep King Mickey, but could they please get rid of Donald and Goofy for just a little while?

and besides disney owns the liscenses to all the charecters in the game except the ff charecters and they own the rights to the story. kh is disneys the only thing SE doees is make the game. disney is not stupid either as said be fore they wouldn't have stayed in buissnes this long they trick you into watching the things they own all the time. you seen any touchstone, hollywood,miramax,or dimension film latly read or watched anything by abc or espn . if so they got you hooked.
