KH3 has never been confirmed, the end all.

I am posting this because I am getting frustrated with all of the unsubstaniated claims of a confirmed KH3.

Please read this, a quote from an interview with Nomura:

"The series isn't done yet, though, Nomura confirmed at the event. "We don't have plans to make Final Mix," he said, "but we do have a new idea for Kingdom Hearts."

Nomura wouldn't get too specific on what this new plan is. Based on his vague comments, whatever he's planning won't be something like Kingdom Heats: Chain of Memories, which bridged the gap between the original Kingdom Hearts and Part II. Nor will it be a numbered entry in the series.

There have been some reports of a secret movie contained in Kingdom Heats II that features a different visual style from that of the main game. Nomura wouldn't comment if this movie has something to do with the new idea, but he wouldn't deny it either.

Whatever the case, this new idea is currently just that at the moment, an idea rather than an actual product -- something that Nomura and crew would like to do.

Nomura is hard at work on a number of titles. He promises an announcement of some form at E3 and the Tokyo Game Show later this year."

It states clearly that nothing is set in stone, nor confirms anything more than an idea. The most important points being in the second and third segments.

I am not a hater, infact I would love a KH3, but before people go raving on about what it will be about or that it is even confirmed, thus misinforming people who truely don't know, please substatiate it with something more than your word, and I will gladly concede this point.

Also, this isn't to say that people shouldn't speculate or discuss possibilities, but don't claim things to be fact when they aren't.

It's not the point of confirmed or not. Based on sales and the fact that Nomura has given some development on the "next" games plot alone proves that he would do it. While it may not be for awhile, there is a VERY good chance that there will be a KH3.

The fact that Nomura is putting work into should be enough confirmation, atleast for me. He started with the secret ending, then developed it more with a story and new cast of characters. He's got something in mind.

Of course, but the same reigns true for many games. I don't think its right to claim that it is confirmed when it hasn't, regardless of how likely of a chance it may happen, especially when people claim things about KH3, when things have pointed it will most likely not even be a numbered entry if something develops from what is right now just something they would like to do. And what is frustrating is when people that that things have been said or "Nomura says it is going to be..." etc, when offering nothing that shows it.

Well I believe the TRUE cause of this was our April Fools Day interview, which confirmed the next KH "game" to be a movie of some kind. I think many people have yet to realize it was a joke. I do agree though, there is no confirmed information and its stupid as hell to argue over what it will be about. Though I do believe that there WILL be a KH3. The fact that Nomura seems very close to this is enough for me. I mean look how much he did for FF7.

Once again, incase it was missed, I am all for speculation, but not claiming things to be true that aren't (at least yet), because it can be misleading to people who don't know.

i flet the same as u before till i realised we were runnin out of kh2 topics etc, so i gave up and just started posting kh2 stuff.... and now no offense but ur gonna hav ppl posting highlights evrywhere about eg: what do you think the idea is etc

Frankely, I think I should just stop caring, I believe what I believe because of what I read and see, and I shouldn't try and voice something against people misleading others. It is fun to speculate, so I guess people can evaluate the raving claims of others on their own volition and demand proof or whatever.

Come on, this forum is full of idiots. XD I mean I saw a topic where someone thought Anti-Form was a glitch in there game and the person was really mad that his game was broken per say.

Take note, when we viewed Deep Dive for the first time when released, KHII or KH: CoM weren't confirmed either. People are being optomistic on another sequel.

As I was playing KH2, I saw several hints to a possibe third game aside from the secret ending. But strange thing is that the Secret Ansem Reports had no hints in them like the first game. Even though, Maleificent and Pete are still around at the end of the game.
