Default Chains

hey all probably a simple question,

just watched aclip of auron and sora fighting hades and ceberus, and i noticed his drive bar has chains on it... is this because he is unable "drive" with only auron in his team...?

and also, what uses your drive bar? all i know is forms and summons, is that it? and how hard is it/how long does it take, to regain your drive bar?

I was wondering about the chains also. But even when Sora can't fuse at other times the chains aren't there.

That's a special part of that particular battle in the Underworld. I don't know how, but Sora's Drive was locked forcing him to rely on sheer strength and team-up attacks with Auron. Yeah! He does get his Drive back later. Iv'e seen screens of him using it in the Underworld.
