I find it slightly ironic that I seem to be the last person on these forums to have learned that my old thread has suddenly been put up in the "sticky section" (I'm sorry, that just sounds... weird). However, I'm glad at the change, hopefully it will get some helpful work done.

I see what you're doing and all, and it's probably a good idea to establish some ground rules to avoid this thread being over-spammed, but is it really necessary that people can only reply to the requests for other threads? I see the value in this, but I worry that it might repress slightly the original purpose of this entire idea. Thus far the only succesfully restored thread found through this has been the old "Kh/Kh2 jokes" (which was later banned, I am slightly chagrined to find out), and that was presented to us by the thread's original creator Fantasy Girl. I would like to suggest a moderate compromise- allow, perhaps, one single advertisement for one of your own forgotten threads upon your first time posting here. This is of course impossible to enforce, so I'm afraid that we would have to rely on the maturity (har) of the posters to refrain from doing more than that. However, for threads that you know and like that aren't ones that you yourself made, I don't see why these shouldn't be mentioned. After all, not all that many people would probably do it because there's no personal gain for themselves, and that way we would be able to introduce some forgotten ones that might not be asked for otherwise.

However, Ryu -as our patron Moderator- I suppose should have final say on how this thread is governed. I would just urge you to consider, not changing, but remodeling those first two rules you posted. I think this thread would profit from the added freedom more than suffer under too much spam.

But in keeping with these rules until I hear back from Ryu, I do have a few questions should anyone be able to help me here. First off, I know that all of the joke threads in this section of the forums have been banned and closed, but I had some material on there that I would like to recover. Does anyone know where I can find these old threads?

Also, I am unable to find the "Trash Bin" section of the forums, to my great dismay. Have I just managed to overlook them somehow, have they been gotten rid of, or is it moved elsewhere?

And one last note before I leave. I would like to suggest opening this thread to encompass missing threads from other sections as well. It would seem slightly over-active to actually put a thread of this sort in every single section, so why not let this one cover all of them? I doubt it would bring too much trouble, but once again that's something I'll wait for a response from Ryu (or any other mod for that matter) before acting on it.

I stuck a thread a couple of months ago and it had this story on it...


Once upon a time, Sora and Namiene were married, but then Sora found out Namiene had been sleeping around with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet of the Hundred Acre Wood. And Namiene was pregnant! So Sora went out to the Hundred Acre Wood and clubbed Pooh and Piglet to death! An investigation was done, but charges were not pressed agianst Sora; however, the bloody club found near Tigger's house was taken in for examination and Tigger was taken to court{he lost his case and was sent to prison for 5 years, he will be paroled in a couple of months}
Namiene had an abortion and dumped Sora and started going out with Riku.Namiene had then gotten into a mysterious car crash, which Sora denies any involvement in. Sora and Kairi then got married later and Goofy and Donald were best men at the wedding. 3 days later, Goofy and Donald was killed by the Incredible Hulk in a freak accident, in which Hulk fell of a skyscraper in Twilight Town and smushed Goofy and Donald into the pavement.They were as flat as pancakesand it took 5 hours and 200 people with spatulas to scrape them off the sidewalk. The Hulk was not injured in this. There was no funeral due to the lack of care. Everybody just got on with thier lives. Fin

This is almost like Hamlet, except somewhat perverted. I think that it was my jerk brother who had posted this crap!!

I tried a similar thing for the Fan Fiction section. Good stories are falling from that list. I agree with making this an official L&F for all sections. I'd like to help do that.
