Why? Have you played R/R? You see that at the end he takes the Twilight Road to find Sora and the others. He has conquered the Darkness and now controls it. It doesn't control him.

If you would have Beaten KH:COM then you'll know that riku has learned how to control the Darkness in his Heart and keep it in Balance with his light.

So there is a very little chance that he will.

Actually, that would be a stunning plot twist. After all he's been through, after all the Reverse Rebirth stuff, he gets one step away from redemption, then BOOM! Instant Supervillian.

Hmm, I dunno. That would be a really big plot twist, but I'll doubt it'll happen. It would be kinda freaky if Riku dies, and Sora becomes so inraged he's taken over by darkness, and that's where the game ends, Sora controlled by darkness. Then KH3 comes, and you're Riku's spirit trying to save him. That would be fun.

Maybe if he were somehow tainted by some outside source, but other than that, no he probablly won't be a bad guy again.....

Well, its actually very possible since Riku never actually defeated Ansem. Ansem still lingers within Riku's heart... And if he is allowed to return to power, he'll take control of Riku like he almost did in COM, then there you have it... Perfectly evil Riku! Actually, I wouldn't mind if he went evil... I want to fight him... He was one of the most difficult battles that you actually had to fight in KH and COM (Well, Replica Riku that is)... And I like hard.

I agree, it is possible and would make a wonderful plot twist. But, they focused on Riku last time, so they might want to focus on someoen else this time. Someone else could become posessed/evil I suppose. Maybe Kairi or Goofy, etc?
