Few of my friends thought it was because sora and roxas were connected ... i said "maybe they saw roxas before and mistook sora for him" ... they looked at me funny ...

Uhm. Apparently Roxas did meet Hayner and Co. in the real TT prior to joining the Order. Thus the reason in the Tower scene with Axel and Roxas, and Roxas going on about wanting to go and see them.

While this does make sense as far as logic alone goes of "hey, we saw him before lol, can't remember where",
It explains where Roxas saw them, not the other way around.
Also, it doesn't explain why they felt they should see Sora off when he was leaving. That was based entirely on their 'copy-Hearts' ' interaction with the 'other side' of Sora's Heart - Roxas.

That's how he works in Kingdom Hearts, actually. It's possible it's because I didn't play FFVII for so long but I never saw anything of this sort in that game, or other Nomura-involved games.
That's because there Nomura was only in charge of concepts instead of Direction (I think that's his role)

Yes he did, but he was still with the organization, but there's a possibility that Hayner and the gang were in trouble of being attacked by Heartless and Roxas met them, also... Poor Scripting has been added.

actually dont ya think that when Rozas ran away from the order cause he Literally ran away (lol) he came to twilight town and met hayner and stuff then went back to TWTNW and got knocked out by riku/xehanort form and then riku brought him too Diz/Ansem and THEN he got sent to Digital twilight town? or another thing i think of is that when you see the ingame scrnshots of 358/2 days you see Roxas Axel Siax and Xigbar in Twlight town right? thats probably when Roxas met the real life HPO and liked them so THEn he tried to run away and fought riku and stuff and blah blah blah you know where im going with this.!

While I do, every single thing you said is contradicted in the games XD;;;

If Roxas met the real HPO trio, they'd have known Sora better than just a mere impression;
Also, why wait for Roxas to come back to TWTNW where he could possibly get backup from other Organization members, instead of attacking him in TLTW? It makes no sense.
To top it all, when Organization-Roxas saw the real HPO - he was too jealous to like them, I think, and that was mostly because he was lacking a Heart.

at the end of KH re:com (at the credits) you see a clip where Roxas sees them walking by (Axel tries to pull him away..ect) This could possibley be it? But most likely just bad scripting XD

It isn't bad script writing.
Roxas and Hayner and Co have bumped into each other a couple times.
One time Axel watches Roxas watch them eat ice cream and he assumes that it means that Roxas wants ice cream (when really he wants a normal life with friends) and this is why Axel and Roxas share so many damned ice creams together.
