Memories-Roxas

Sorry if this topic has already been discussed but...

What ever happened to Roxas' memories? They were apparently altered during his time in digital Twilight Town. How did he manage to get them back? (I'm assuming he got them back by the time he fought Sora in TWTNW. It seems like he does. )

From what we're told in that aspect, Roxas never had his Memories from when he 'was' Sora because Sora reverted back to human form so soon after becoming a Heartless. His Nobody then hardly had time to actually form before the Memories were pulled back to his Heart.

As far as Roxas's altered Memories it's most likely Namine messed with them via his relation to Sora (whose Memories she controls freely, and of those related to him - namely, Roxas) so it'd be easier to hide him in the TLTW DiZ created.

I would assume that's because he was put back into Sora at the end of his 6 days or whatever in the digital TT. Since he was back in Sora (and still concious within him) it would make sense that he has access to Sora's heart/soul and thus his memories. Unless you're talking about his memories while in the Organization, about that I have no clue xD

I agree. Not to mention he probably regained it back after he merged with Sora. I don't remember the part though, it was awhile since I played. So correct me if I'm wrong by the way.

He never had very many to begin with because Sora spent hardly any time as a heartless.

He got memory on the 6th day at twlight town because Sora was starting to gain his back and they obvioulsy have some odd bond. That is also why Roxas has emotion.

See this is my question Roxas was digital data I believe right so why would AtW put the fake Roxas back into Sora or was that really Roxas cause he was in his org XIII outfit in the other machine place laying were that portal this was so wtbbq oh wait never mind Riku brought him to the fake world AtW created.

Roxas had lost his own memories due to the little time he spent in the Organization in KH358/2. But since
he had that fight with Axel he remember everything because of the Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades.
And its kinda weird when Roxas goes back into sora inside the manison. But you fight him in the
cut-scence.

Remember one thing:
Namine can alter the memories of Sora and those around him or connected. Roxas had a conection to Sora and Sora had a connection to Namine, meaning that Roxas could have a "Chaim of Memories" to be manipulated. I asume that is memories were destroyed due to have the process of the awakening of Sora faster.

whoa thats weird i thought he had gotten the memories in castle oblivion of sora
and when sora was getting his old memories back like ~
sora got new memories but didnt want them so he gave it to roxas?

Well, here's another thing: Sora was supposed to be forgetting Castle Oblivion, yet in one of the flashbacks during Roxas' story we see the opening scene of Chain of Memories, where it first shows Marluxia hooded and then where Sora gets his first look at the castle. Is this because Roxas is the other side of Sora's heart, so those memories weren't completely forgotten??

Mhm. I meant the ones while he was in the Order.

In COM, didn't we learn memories couldn't be destroyed? That the most that could happen to them is to sink into the darkness of the heart
