Dumb Alantica dance thing

Hey,I',m in the Atlantica world thing and I'm unsure of how to press the X button when it flashes on the screen.I mean I'm pressing the X button like crazy but the gauge meter continues to act like a bitch and go down.Help me out people!

you press the correct button once its in the light part of the ring

Didn't you read the instruction? You can find it in the "pause" during the musical.
----> what you have to do is press the right button in the yellow part.

Apparently you're doing everything right since on the Ursala level the gauge is supposed to go down. >_>'
