Use the Circle Of Life:
Attack Power - 4
Magic Power - 1
Ability - MP Haste

as keychain.

I prefer putting high potion to SHORTCUT like L1 + O

Also I assume that you have lvl´d up your Forms and Summons to MAX and equiped High Jump LVL 3 to normal Sora. Also Fast Run LVL 3.

You need fast run when Sephiroth makes those barriers which suck you into them. Use [] to escape the magnetic barriers.

When he rises to air. Go to him and use High Jump with X. Then hit him with air combo until he falls down.

Also when he teleports next to you and hits once with sword, dont block! You will lose only few HP and go to air. You should have equiped Retaliating Slash or something and once you are hit to air and he teleports to air too, use [] to make combo at him, then continue with normal air combo.

When he flies near the castle and starts to shoot flaming balls, go to other side where you came to this battle area and jump right-left-right-left... until he stops.

Also when he does his normal land combo, just use [] to block and Sora will block the whole combo, then attack him and hit him to air and give air combo. SEPHIROTH IS A WIMP IN THE AIR!!

Also the reaction command /\ is of course easy to do. DONT IGNORE IT! You will get a free combo once Sephy is stunned.

Those orbs which he does to follow you, be in their center and use Reflega and they will be destroyed.

The first 4 bars of HP are easy to get empty. Once Sephiroth has only 3 bars left, you have already won unless you got an unlucky death.

Remember that the easiest thing in Sephiroth boss is that you can predict his attacks.


These tactics will ensure you a victory.

Also, use Reflega as much as possible. If you can, use Reflega instead of the Reaction command, if you are far enough away when he uses the move, the rebound of Reflega should deal massive damage and youo could still attack him.

That consumes MP, but if you have lots of Ether, then its good tactic.

its okay to lose mp if you DO allow him to hit you into the air, That deals damage which ups your mp (with that one ability) plus reflect and cure are the only things youd use mp for. And you can use cure with 1 mp

alright, i havent beaten him on proud, but ive beaten him on standard and beginner. first off, use the reaction command, have a lot of combination boosting abilities, id recomend the decisive pumpkin keyblade. also, when he slashes you into the air, let him do so, then quickly use the airial redcovery ability, then smash him with a combo. have the finishing plus and the explosion and guard break abilities equipped, also, you need to have the once more and second chance abilities equipped.now, when he uses his combo withn his katana, guard against it, and keep doing it until its over, then hit him with a combo. the fire attack, just use glide to get away, and if you dont have that, keep running, dont jump! when it comes to the dark balls, use reflect.when he attacks with all of those meteors, id recomend high jump lvl2 and aireial dodge lvl1, just keep jumping, then also remember to attack him when he does his heartless angel

Hey guys, I've tried a few times to defeat Sephiroth and I need a little help. I've looked up in a few guides and it says to just use Quick Run (level 2) to get close and attack when he does the "Descend, Heartless angel" move, but when I do this it still hits me. Can someone help me with this?

What I will do is give you the stragety guy to defeat sephiroth.

You need that Double Jump to be at least level 2 when he does Sin's Harvest. But he does have a pattern of attacks and after he gets hit a certain amount of times, he will teleport. Best thing to do is learn his pattern. This way, you can tell when he'll do Apocalypse (where the pillars of fire shoot into the air and pull you in) or just try to hit you. Using the deflect ability works well here too because it restores MP when done right. He'll do pretty much the same exact thing until he casts Meteor. Then he will be zooming around quickly and his moves won't be nearly as predictable as they were in the beginning. But don't worry, as long as you have the Retaliatory Slash (or whatever it's called) equipped, you can stop his combo with it and continue with yours. MP Haste works well too so have all those equipped. The only spell I use in this whole fight is either Cura or Curaga so after time and a certain amount of hits, my MP is restored and I'll have enough HP to deal more damage before I have to heal.

You need to be at levels 65-79 inorder to defeat him. But if you have good luck then it'll help you alot.

O yes I wouldn't buy an action replay, some codes will mess up your game.....................
