Port Royal Help

How Do you get past the part on port royal where your on the ship and you need to protect the meddalion?

PLEASE HELP!

I had a hard time on that too. What you need to do is play keep away unless/until there are 3 or less enemies around you then attack and blast the other ship whenever you can!

1) Use Drives/Limit/Summons

2) PROTECT YOUR MEDALLION. If its stolen, go after the pirate who took it, and defeat him. When he dies, he will drop the medallion WHICH YOU WILL NEED TO PICK UP!! Don't just kill him and run away. You need to actually find the medallion on the ground.

3) Stay in the moonlight - the pirates are invincible in the dark. Use magic esp. Blizzard. Fire works well, but the pirates end up running around.

4) Blast the other ship whenever you pass the cannon, or just sit there and wait for the reaction command to pop up over and over again.

Gd luck! I had problems with that also! If you need more help, try an online guide or walkthrough. Just google "Kingdom Hearts 2 Walkthrough" or smthing.

Yes As Akans Said just keep blasting the ship, while fending off the pirates for quite a long time and look after the medalion im sure that will get you through it =]

The simple answer would be to use magic none stop.
Blizzard freezes them in place for a couple seconds.
Thunder makes them spin in the air for a sec and causes them to walk around slowly unable to attack.
Fire just sets them on fire and sends them running around as a flaming target/weapon.

Use Wisdom Form as much as possible. Stay near the top of the ship where the wheel is and pick off enemies from there. With a great source of moon light being in that one area, it's easier to take out the undead.

Don't bother with the cannons. Just run away and use LOTS of magic (and Wisdom form) Also, don't forget to kill off all enemies and make sure you're holding the medallion when the timer runs out.
(I think there's a timer.)

I remember that part. The cannons are useless.
Always protect your medallion. Use summons and drives to help also.
