| doesn't play well with others | Take back America from who or what, exactly? Look, I realize that Obama is not everybody's cup of tea, but a lot of you (like Bob Basso) need to get over this idea that somehow the country has been stolen from you. You are now part of the political minority, and it does not matter if you are right or wrong because democracy does not give a shit about such things. Democracy only cares about who receives more ballots filled out in their favor, and it's time to quit bitching accept that this time, for better or worse, that person was Barack Obama. America does not need a revolution, it needs to grow the fuck up. |

Rep Power: 13 ![]() ![]() Level: 21 EXP: | Oh how does reality sting when a member of the majority suddenly finds themselves apart of the minority. The past decade never happened and everything wrong today happened in an instant. Does no one get mad at Congress or the House anymore? |

| Sirius Rex | What do you think "they" means? I don't give a crap about Obama, we've had presidents people didn't like before. But we're supposed to checks and balances for that. The Senate and HoR are supposed to put the public well being and opinion into action. But when the people are pissed that Congress is doing the opposite of what they want, who's to say that the system isn't failing them? |

| doesn't play well with others | Hardly, and that is the part I find most laughable. Obama was never much of a liberal to begin with and he's shifted even further to the right of center since assuming the presidency; what are all of these conservatives so afraid of? We didn't elect Che Guevara, we elected a man who is probably to the right of Bill Clinton. He has (or rather, had) a filibuster proof Senate and STILL made no effort to force and progressive legislation down anybody's throat. There is no reason to be so terrified of this guy. |
