Add in the fact that space stations might improve living conditions, it doesn't add to our food supply. Rather, it still is going down.

Space stations are too expensive to build and cost too many resources better spent at home.

Well capping a population just won't happen that easily. I mean heck,we'd have to go extermanating millions of people who are useless just to dwindle it down... And who will they choose first? Newborns,bums on the streets and elderly people... Sounds ridiculous.... lol

And I agree,with your last part. But kids today think they know everything and can handle it....

I prefer that the parents be good people, not ones with money. Just because they're not rich doesn't mean they don't use contraceptives and are dumb.

Which is why I despise our generation yet commend the generation of my grandfather.

At least they didn't think life was easy back then and you could get whatever you want.

Oh yeah and exterminate those depending on the situation.

Okay. But, the idea of a global plan to cut down on the number of babies being born, and ultimately delaying overpopulation is good in theory - but I have yet to see a realistic plan to execute it. We got two chances of being hit with meteorites just like the one that wasted the dinosaurs in 2029 and 2036.

I can see where you're coming from, and while I respect your opinion, I need you to shut up an see where I'm coming from.

I'm not talking about third-world countries or people. I'm talking about people who are in the average to above-average income group, who aren't poor but aren't rich and who can support their child. I can't vouch for your statement, because that is not how I grew up. I can and only will comment on that when I have lived like that. Otherwise, my point would be invalid.

Not being rich enough to support multiple children does not mean poor and unable to support just one child.
