| Watch out it's BecPalin! Oh no! | Honestly, what does the world want us to do? We do something on behalf of another country that didnt ask us to, and we get yelled at for being world police. We support a dictator for our own interests and not the interests of other nations. People freak out and rant about us doing this. We do nothing, and people complain we are greedy and unwilling to help. Now i realize that people will always complain. But I think we need at least a majority consensus of wtf people think we should do. Not that that would influence our politics in America in anyway I hope, it is more just for my curiosity. Personally I think we need to just sit back and stop interfering, but this is mainly directed towards non-Americans. |

The last century alone has proved that your ally at one juncture may be your enemy the next. However, any country that has a surplus of resources and has a stable post-industrial economy should invest itself in other economies and human welfare so that lesser-developed countries can graduate without something as drastic as ethnic cleansing or civil war. It hasn't always worked, but it is in the mutual interest of the world state to maintain basic human rights to set a precedent for the future. |

Vice versa if you attempt to help the second group, resulting in the first group becoming angered at you. How many innumerable groups are there in this world? Far too many. Any action is going to anger one at some stage. Even the lack of action is going to provoke certain groups. Personally, I think America should look after itself and stop interfering in other countries unless it's requested to do so. But that's just me. |

| Watch out it's BecPalin! Oh no! | Oh yeah, like they are much better being divided up into several thousand ethnic-based nations. Let's create a Masai and Zulu nation! |

America needs to actual think before helping a country. We can't go in guns a blazing, thinking we know how to fix things we don't understand. We can't exactly start becoming isolationists either. Weaker countries need stronger countries to help it sometimes. The stronger countries just need to be careful when they help out. Think of it as a monster in a city. The slightest wrong movement can destroy a lot. | |
