While in English I fell asleep, then I woke up. For some weird reason they got to the subject of wars-and China. The first thing they said was that China REALLY want's those ancient scrolls in Taiwan, so my wierd English teacher said China will threaten us. Well not actually threaten us. It's just that they're one of the leading profiters on U.S military weaponry. And they will cut the profits unless America retrieves them.


Then they talked about the nuclear build-up/weaponry in China and said America will threaten China to stop it. Then stuff happens and we're in a war, and since we were political allies, every-one else picks sides(I hope we get Russia.).

then a week later my freind Brandon(not in same class) said he had a dream of him shooting Asians in ruins of NY.(Note: I don't live in NY so he was probably some-one else.)

Do you believe this?

There are lots of theories out there claiming China will be the next global super power. But with the state the world is in right now anything is possible. But if they cut off trade they lose money. And that would destroy they're economy. Plus if they cut off trade with other countries, they would retaliate. It's really hard to say what will happen. China has power over lots of countries due to there manufacturing but that also makes them vulnerable.

The whole nuclear development thing is a little iffy. You have to remember what North Korea tried a few years ago.

there have been a lot of writers and the like that say that the next big war will take place primarily in asia. there are many signs that point in that direction, with turmoil throughout the regions that could explode into much larger confrontations.

technically, china already is the next big superpower.

Hell even the Bible prophesied that the war there would be the start of the Apocalypse.
I see it as a matter of time, not if.

If there is a war, China will most certainly be the dominating force.

As long as you are afraid of China wanting world power, China will react on that. Stop will all the fears, it's what's causing all the problems in the first place.

The issue is that China now has a great influence over the world, especially the United States. It has nothing to do with fear.

Tibet is still occupied, and NOTHING has been done, for one thing.

they might me, since I'm sure comunist contries are MUCH more strict when it comes to military power. Though if we do go to war with them, they'lle probably just throw random Asians in there to fight with NO training.

I'm just hoping they won't invade America.

Also we probably would get some of Europe. Also theres alot of Chinese immigrants here, and I don't believe they would attack there own people.

Uh, I guess you don't pay much attention. China isn't really a communist country anymore. So if you are trying to turn this into an anti communism debate, its not working. China would be stupid to go to war. Sure, they have a large army and massive amounts of tech, but that doesn't mean they are war ready. China has its own issues to deal with. And why would it go to war with its trade partner? China sells a lot of exports to the US. Suddenly fighting would be ridiculous.

Then you have to figure that they are both in the UN. No one is going to let them fight over such stupid reasons. You act like China is this power hungry bully. They aren't.
