There is always porn, but the real difference is that the Internet is mostly out of anyone's control. Even if the news media puts a "spin" on a story, there will always be someone who posts the true story. Then again, a lot of things on the Internet are false.

And it's also been competing against the media as well. Because of YouTube (and other sites), you can watch shows online. Also, blogs and sites relay the news.

Well, uh, it's hard to explain because it's so big.
