A few months ago i read in the paper that the construction of a science-park was halted, as activists posed a real threat to a lot of the people involved. It's outragious that this can happen in a democracy, the activists pretty much acted like terrorists. How bad is it where you live? Or don't you notice anything?

A famous guy in my group of friends (not an acquaintance of mine, but a friend of a few of mine) known as Harold. He protests everything, but I haven't heard of much as far as dangerous protest.

What was the threat that they posed? Also, what were they protesting for? Possibly, you could link to a cover story on the web about it so that all others are able to understand what protest you are speaking of. Thanks.

They basically intimidated people that invested and a member of the city-counsel who gave a building permit. They threatened to hurt their families and thrashed up property of the people involved.

Wow......that's really bad news and that does suck. I mean why aren't they doing anything about it?

They aren't doing anything because none of those threatened are willing to comment on it to anyone due to the chance of more aggressive behavior by any unclaimed remnants of the A.L.F. sect. Anonymous comments to the authorities might not work either due to the fact that this sect knows the location of each member of the council. If they do anything, these psychopathic "liberators" will probably just assault every possible member or "rat" they can get their grubby little hands on.
