Not to drag this discussion on, but if you knew the driving habits of those around you and how much of an idiot your father is concerning automobiles, it *could* happen.

I think we need to define 'see'. Perhaps we're looking for possibilities, instead of absolute occurences?

What a lot of people mistake for prediction may actually be the fact that the subconscious mind notices things that go totally unnoticed by the conscious mind. When you sleep and dream, the stuff noticed by the subconscious mind is included into the dream, and you may notice many things you missed during the day. These unnoticed clues may be misinterpreted as predictions of what is to come in the future, but in fact they were just missed clues to present events.

eh... don't hate me for adding on to this thread, but im not sure of if you can see in the future. some things or just coincidence, some probably, as has been said, are just the subconscious mind putting things together based on things you might not notice and possibilities, and others just cant be explained. i know for one i get deja vu a lot and know i have done something before but when i go with it mentioning it to someone (talking as though it has happened and is normal and isnt deja vu), they have no idea what im talking of and say its never occured. with dreams, not all can just be subconscious i dont think. ive had a dream that i recalled when i say a certain thing in the inferno. oddly enuff, it was a dream my boyfriend also had. and we hadnt known each other when we had it, etc. i hadnt even known KHI at the time so yea.. and how the conversation went, we weren't just agreeing with the other on the dream. so idk really. i guess there are cases. anyway.

Its like you're already presented with the information that's going to happen. It's kind of like knowing when your airplane is supposed to leave the airport, you've been told in advance, so therefore you know what is going to happen, only in this case you don't realize that you already know when the plane is going to leave.

Uhh no. I'm talking about when you dream, when you dream your subconcious goes through things you may have not noticed while in your consious state, so when somthing happens in real life that also did in your dream it could be due to your subconcious knowing things you didn't realize.

And most of the time a coin will land on tails because the heads side is heavier btw.

It depends on exactly what you mean by 'into the future'.

Do you mean exactly and it's not just several seconds before, or is it roughly and several seconds before?

EG to the second: You friend is running towards you can you can see that they are clearly distressed and crying. You can tell that they're going to have bad news.
