That last ice age wasn't man-made. o_o

And as I said before, even if climate change isn't as doomy-doom as we think it is, what harm is there to conserve our resources and be environmentally conscious?

my view on global warming is that the planet is going to die sooner or later, so we should just use all that we need and not try to reserve because it will be futilly delaying the inevitable

I agree with Raticus (i like your avi btw) Would it really hurt to conserve energy? At the very least it would save you money, even if saving the planet isn't on your list of importance.

C'mon, buying a few flourecent bulbs wouldn't hurt.

Finding ways to save energy costs more money than just spending the money. Theres a reason all these over 9000 miles per gallon vehicles aren't driven by poor people.

Anywayz, yes "global warming" is something that has occured many times in the geographical history of the planet, evidence from ice cores etc etc shows that. The issue now is not so much that the temperature is increasing, but the fact that we aren't exactly helping it with the amount of pollutants we are sending up every day.

Before when the temperature has increased it has been natural and the planet has re-sorted itself out, however this time, because of the added influence of humans we have no idea what is going to happen now. Yes temperature change has happened before, but the context is different now, it hasn't happened like this before. That is why it is why it is a concern, because of the unpredictability of it.


For sure using fossil fuels isn't CAUSING it but it is adding to it.

It's not like life on Earth would end. That's the good part of it. Bad part, a lot of the life would. Mostly everything that needs sunlight to live. Only things that would really survive something so big that would take thousands of years to create, would be bacteria, and organisms very deep in the ocean, where no light reaches.

Ha cute. This guy was trying to be scientific. Well I think the bombs will get us first but that’s just me. Global warming is a threat but not extreme right now. It will get extreme if not checked into but that all depends on if our countries don't give us more BS of what they want to do and put into action. Few places actually have.
