Default DS Stolen

Ok, so here's the deal. Yesterday my DS, DS AR, and Pokemon Diamond were stolen by one of my supposed 3 friends that were over at my place. I know it was one of them because I know where my stuff was and they were the only ones left alone aroud it. I thought I could trust my friends, but apparently I can't.

My question is what should I do?

I had some stuff like that happen to me as well. I mean great friends right? The guy that got away with my stuff moved so I'm SOL.lol

Since you isolated the suspects, everything is a lot easier, I would assume. Find a decent way to get them all to come back over to your house, maybe separately at first but tell them that you got a new console or something and you would like them all to play. Try to get them all in the room, lock the door and place the key in your pocket. Say something like, I'm about to go look for my DS before I let you all play the console, they'll probably say where is it and get it out. But say you will hook it up and its in the closet. Then all of sudden, act like you just lost your DS and is not worried about convicting anyone of stealing it. "Be like its weird, I was just playing my DS and I some how lost it. I've been looking every where for it and I still can't find it." Than have them all help you find it... After about a few seconds, spring the conviction thing on. I'm sure you'll get an answer, I mean there's no other way the thief could escape, and its likely that your two best friends would aid you in some way... But then again you don't have to follow my plan because you may not want a thief back in your house.

I had use to have tons of tons PS1 and now I don't.. A friend did it.

I plan to re-buy them off ebay((if this job works out)). I trust people to much thats my problem and my weakest. I let him borrow them and sold them for drugs<.</

Leave a good game lying around and leave a note inside that says "I know what you did, bitch."

The best thing for you to do is simply confront them as soon as possible in a nice friendly gesture. If they act totally ignorant of it, all 3 of them, then it's best for you to end your friendship with all of them. It seems a DS is worth more than a good friend nowadays.

(skip to next paragraph unless you want to read a rant)

I had a similar situation except it involved my PS2 controllers. I was incredibly mad at how some button bashers (not mashes, bashes...), who were my friends of course, were using my PS2 controllers especially when I bought multiplayer PS2 games for all of my friends to play when they would come over so you could imagine how frustrated I was paying like 30 dollars a controller because of these particular people. I went through like 4 controllers until I finally realized it couldn't be me solely demolishing these controllers since I tended to play RPGs and such and not fighting games so I ended up demanding payment after gathering evidence and giving them a detail explanation of why I accused them of such. I ended not speaking with 1 as much anymore nor did he ever bother coming over as often as before and the other one we're still friends but I'm still having to constantly tell him to not play so hard. Now that I think about it, no wonder I didn't want to share my Wii with all my friends because of how some played too roughly...

I confronted them that very night. The three guys were: my best friend I've known for 10+ years, his cousin I've known for around the same time, and another cousin that I've known around a year. I'm leaning towards the third guy. My bf and his cousin live next door to each other down the street, so it was no problem to confront them face to face, but the third guy had already gone home - two towns away. I would go kick his butt, but I would probably be arrested for assaulting a minor. All three of them deny taking it, but I really wasn't expecting them to confess.

Yeah, he does seem like the obvious choice if you are truly indeed that close with the other two.

Depending on how you worded it, I would safely assume it didn't tarnish your friendship with the ones you've known for 10 years or so hopefully, but it can, of course, indeed leave a bad aftertaste in their mouths. If you honestly think it's the 3rd guy, I would try and speak privately with the other two if they are indeed as understanding as I'm assuming them to be and see what you can scheme up with them to take it back or at least get an acknowledgment out of the 3rd guy that he did indeed take it, if he did anyway.

This happened to me once, like three years ago.

I found out who took it recently, I think I may go across the road and kick his ass right now.
