Fucking Xbox internet

I can't connect to LIVE, and I'm not wasting 100$ on that dumb router. I've tried everything. Bridging, ICS, all that stuff. I'm using the cable that comes with the Xbox. I'm using a windows XP laptop that is really shitty but works if you wait 15 minutes for it to start up. I really need suggestions at this point. It used to work with the bridging, but it stopped twice and now its completely dead.

So you were bridging by using your connection to your laptop as like a "wi-fi device"? I used that before.

My only suggestion is search for a cheap wi-fi adapter. Not the Microsoft one. That's stupid over-priced. Linksys has a bunch, and you can find some for under $50. I had one given to me by a friend, it's how I connect to XBL.

Or you could just get a PS3.

Yeah, I was doing the laptop thing. I didn't know there were other kinds of adapters for the Xbox, thanks. I'll probably head over to Radio shack or the mall sometime.
