Dad found my stash

What do I do, my dad hasn't said anything, and he found my stash of stems. He came down stairs and flung them in front of me. I don't know what to do, he hasn't said anything but "You didn't flush the toilet", which I took as "Flush that down, now". I don't know if this is marked as inappropriate, but I've got no clue what to do. Help me out! (Please, no flaming)

I put it in an old stuffed animal, so when he came down I didn't understand how he could have gotten them. Wierdo.
Anyway, if he busts my chops, I'm going to honestly tell him: "I'm sorry I brought this in the house, I'm not going to stop, but I'll never bring anything illegal in here again". IF that doesn't work, well, he's also a smoker, infact that's where I get mine, so I guess I'll bring that up. wish me luck.

Not smart if you plan on using in a defensive tone. Then he'll know you've been stealing his stuff which doesn't help you at all. If you confess that you've taken his stuff, then it lightens your load, or at least clears the air.

I know where your coming from, same thing happened to me.
I was going to a friends house to go smoke it, when I realized I forgot it.
I remember, I left it underneath my pillow & i left my room door open.
So when I came back around 10 minutes later.
I saw my uncle holding my stash in the living room (and he's a cop).
He just yelled at me and made me throw it away.
So yeah, I admitted everything.

But ever since I have done it, every now and then. I just never bring it to the house.

Like put it in some kind of old boxes and hide them way deep in your closet.
