Project suggestions, anyone?

Alright, so this if for my World History class, and we have to pick a major current event or trend going on in either the United States, Canada, or Europe. Anybody know of any current events going on, then? I want a good one, because, if we do really good, we could get voted the best and not have to take the history final.

I know what going on in america since I am there. so pick we need gas from other country. gas is $3 and somethin a gallon. Put that in ur paper.

Or maybe the election between a girl and an iraq guy. Ithink thats what he is. Hilary clinton and barrack Obama.

Obama's dad was white and his mom was black/indian. It's in one of his books.

Besides gas prices there isnt much to talk about in America.

Make a chart contrasting the usa before the Bush administration and after.
Then write how the current presidential canditates claim they can fix it.

Not only is there plenty to talk about but you get bonus brownie points if your teacher is a Democrat :3
