So many problems....

Well, if you been on KHinsider for awhile you should recognize my user name. I frequently posted in this section in reply to many queries for help and things of that nature. I been gone for awhile... with good reason.

#1. It seems I cannot connect to the internet. Now before you go into, "Hello! This is the wrong section for this!", let me explain. Quite frankly, the phone/internet/cable bill has not been payed in the last month.

So that brings me to #2.

My family is going through a finicial CRISIS.

My mom doesn't work because last year she was dianosed with cancer, my dad lives in Texas, and I'm the only person in my house who WORKS.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT

Just today at 8am, my mother's car was REPOED.

My parents want me to lend them $250 dollars to pay for the tow. Keep in mind everything I have already told you and also... crisis or not... they have a bad record of paying me back.

ADVICE PLEASE!!!

Um Um Um I say let ur mom use the money But be strict & say U better pay me back or I'll never let u borrow some of my cash again or something like that.

U're prolly gonna semi-disregard my comment b/c I'm 15, but that's okay.

Obviously if you feel guilty because you're mom has cancer and needs your help; and you want that guilty feeling to go away, then help her out. On the other hand i don't rlly know what you're relationship is with u're mum so there's always that possibility that you just don't like her. And then there's your dad, why doesn't he pay like 1/2 or something resonable like that? This is all the help I can rlly offer, but it's mostely me guessing on your relationship status with you're folks.

...yeah, that won't work. If u're mum has a bad history in not paying you back, then there's an obvious outcome. It's not like the mom can't use the "I've supported you all your life so I shouldn't have to pay you back." card.

Your mother needs your help. Bad track record or not, it's no excuse not to help her out. My mother barely pays me back but I'd still help her out with something like this.

I don't know about you, but I'd feel guilty if I didn't. :/

I have to conquer with ya both too... i'm always lending my parents money for something... hell, my dad never gives it back...

Thank you for your suggestions. I would close this now that I made my desion. I decided to help her. Reason being, she is my mom. My dad is down in texas for the very reason as that- to help us finically. I wrote a contract with my mom and dad- seeing I'm 19 and an adult, its legit. Some may think thats bogus- but $250 is a lot of money to me. I appreciate everyones views
