    Default What Do You Enjoy in a Signature?

    In my early days of tag making, I have notice that mine don't seem to stand out. Well they do, but they don't catch people's eyes. I personally do not enjoy the overly chaotic tags, because it's hard to see what they did, how the did it, and they just feel messy to me. I am the only crazy one?

    Well, what I like in a sig is not too much, like you said not too chaotic. I personally love to work with different brushes or textures, try out new fonts and just take my time on it so it will come out the way I want to. I don't like too many colors, I usually stick with 2 colors.
    But I believe everyone has a different opinion on this, cause of course everyone has their own style and own techniques when it comes to creating signatures.

    Generally the focal is what drags me in most of the time. If I see a stock in a tag that has sub-par effects then I find a way myself to make that stock 'jump'. I think I speak for most of the experienced individuals when I say, that once the eye becomes trained enough, you can basically tell what techniques that person used to achieve their desired result. Of course there's always gonna be those pieces that scream "Okay I dare you to try and style rip" I.E.

    And that's easily one of my all time favorites just because there's a bunch going on and it still looks appealing

    i like tags that are dynamic, especially when it comes to lighting. lots of sharpen, nice colours and texture.

    Considering I'm a big sucker for simple effects, and elegant lighting, I think that pretty much explains it. Yeah, I love to see advanced effects here and there that just look like it was all piled on top of each other, but at the end of the day, I like my tags(and the ones i view) to be simple, and just nice to look at.

    I like tags that have an otherworldly or almost mystical feel. A bold image with lots of texture, color, and interesting patterns often catch my eye. Not chaotic, but subtle enough that the main focal point of the image can still be seen.

    Here are some that I really like.

    "My heart belongs to me!"

    "Maybe... waiting isn't good enough."
    ~~~
    "Thinking of you, wherever you are...There are many worlds, and they share the same sky - one sky, one destiny." <3
