Rep Power: 0  |  My first KH AMV This is my first ever KH AMV which i finally posted yesterday. I really like how it turned out. So far only one person has left a comment, and two ratings, but i'd really appreciate it if you tell me what you think, either here on this thread, or on YouTube if you have an account  The song used is "Wherever You Are" from Winnie The Pooh: Search for Christopher Robin. Rep Power: 1 | Re: My first KH AMV It's a good start. But I'd go with a different love song. Something from Disney prehaps. But its a nice choice by the way, its just if it was me I'd go with something different. Not sure what but something a bit better than that song. No offense.

I wish you had used more of what was in 2:14, when the thunder crashes on Kingdom Hearts to the beat of the drums. Beware, I'm gonna be kind of tough, but just as chaywa and GTX didn't cut me any slack with AMVs, that's how I got better. - The AMV had terrible flow. Anytime that the song looked like it was picking up you didn't pick up the AMV with it. - Not much of it was on beat. - Plenty of boring, close-up faceshots throughout the majority of the AMV. Rarely did you use a clip that made the viewer feel like Sora was desperately looking for Kairi. - Important clips of the series were used at forgettable moments of the song, while sometimes it picked up and you used a clip that didn't mean much. - Slow, boring song is slow, boring song. These kinds of AMVs are hard to pull off and keep interesting. I'd start out with songs that have an established and easily-recognized beat that are at a medium tempo for you to keep the viewer interested with your first few works. - Looong ending KH2 cutscene was unnecessarily looong around 3:39 - Try to cut out subtitles next time, if you can. - The ending part missed the beat and it was pretty forgettable. You always want the ending to make the viewer feel as though they would have missed something big had they stopped viewing the video before it got to the end. Make it spectacular. I know it's kind of hard with KH, but it's possible. :]

Rep Power: 0 | Re: My first KH AMV Thanks for the advice guys, I have several other videos in production right now (Most of which are actually YouTube Poops) and a whole load of ideas for AMV's I hope to work on them soon. And maybe one day, i'll even go back to this video and do whatever I can to make it better. Well, at least it still got a posotive comment and a fav anyway.
