Hey guys, I'm brand new here, so I'd like to start off by showing my work. Most of this is pretty old, I haven't had time recently to work on art or graphics outside of school and my website, but hopefully that will change a little during the upcoming summer.

the contest has been pretty lame lately. the organizers of it have really dropped the ball. it's become like signature for the next 3 months...

Wow, haven't seen scrapbook tags in ages.
Judging by what you've posted, you have a good understanding of graphics, but, on a few your coloring needs work. Also, I would've liked to see some varied styles. Everything has a very similar look to it in coloration and effects used.

The skill level of the site has dropped a lot since the times when SOTW actually ran regularly. A lot of the old designers have gone on indefinite hiatus. A few of them still hang around though such as Sparkle Motion and The Scarecrow.

Prodigy is trying to set up SOTW I think again though so it should get going sometime soon.

The style takes me back a few years. Saw alot of tags like that back then, loved them then. Still do. Excellent.

Lol, yeah... SOTW is like SOTNFM (Sig of the next few months) I'd still vote for you though.

I guess everyone is using C4Ds and brushes these days...

I usually get all of my effects from blending several images together, which may attribute to the "older" style--I know a lot of people used to do it 3-4 years ago. I never really moved on, so I've basically been pushing the style even further than most people ever did.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it's bad. Quite the opposite. I'm glad you didn' give up on that method.
